it was also weird when they were in battle against lord changxin and ML asked one of his generals to protect her , I mean this is a battlefield that general needs to protect himself first , why is she there in the first place if she can't fight 😅 and Also when she killed that general of sui army with two hits of his own weapon , somethings were exaggerated.

this is getting way too long , guess you haven't read anything from what I said before either way I gonna make clear in the review that I didn't discuss anything from the last 8 episodes, hope this ends this very long discussion.

I didn't promote illegal sites, if I was promoting illegal sites I would have at least mentioned them, where in my review did I promote them ? , what unreleased episodes did i review as i mentioned before this has what bothered me up till ep 30 -32 which were officially out back then and i stated that before i didn't have a comment on the last few episodes 'the leaked ones' or at least the comment is not in this review ,if you have a point which from my understanding is stop watching content on illegal sites 'which you are free to say' you should have stated it clearly from the beginning instead of attacking me and saying stuff like shame and who is gonna take this review seriously , you could have stated your opinion respectfully that's all , because as I said there are other reviews based on leaked episodes yet you chose to attack this one which is weird.

where did I brag ? when this was written 32 were legally out , and you are only attacking because you don't like the rating, there are more reviews based on those leaked episodes you are talking about , why didn't you speak there , because they gave a 10 or what ? if you are going be so upright and righteous comment there too 🫠

Couldn't wait 😅 yet I don't think waiting would have changed my opinion , because this review applies to the first 30 episodes and the last 10 were dissappointing and rushed for me although I didn't mention it here not to ruin the show for anyone , and hey that's only my opinion you are free to agree or disagree.

for novel readers, what was xie zheng's character like ? is it different from the drama?

this makes a lot of sense , I haven't read the manhwa I have only watched the drama yet it felt lacking and missing a lot of things , it feels like the summary was talking about another drama , they didn't get in depth about any of the leads issues and this turned out to be a cliche rom com.

maybe i didn't make clear on the part he fell in love with dal , I wasn't saying he shouldn't fell in love with dal or move on for me it was rushed , she saved his life so they grew closer but him saving her on multiple occasions or caring for her at first was mainly due to her resemblance to crown princess , like if she didn't look like the crown princess would he have cared ? I don't know , their love story didn't give me that deep connection .

the bird subplot , i wasn't saying it should continue through the whole show " it was annoying at sometimes " yet after he killed the bird to save dal he wasn't that upset maybe because he had dal , yet it was so ridiculous to waste like 5 or 6 episodes on that subplot to end badly and unsatisfying .

kim han cheol backstory could've been introduced much earlier than the last 3 episodes , even if it was in flashbacks , all we got at first was he was controlling the royal family as revenge for poisoning the late queen , any backstory would at least gave us any clarification to understand the protagonist more .

kim han cheol 's plan was also ridiculous at some point he wanted his daughter to marry CP so his grandson one day or after he killed CP and emperor would be king even if that happened that grandson is still a bloodline to the royal family he hate so much , so what was he doing it for power ? even if it was for power , power for what to bring back the late queen and say she is innocent , all of that after killing a lot of innocent people in the process so extreme , how he went from the one who wanted to serve his country and king and genuinely a normal guy to a cold hearted murderer ? we never got to see that transition even in flashbacks it doesn't show that much.

he hated the royal family for what they did to the queen yet he inflicted the same thing on the crown princess by trying to kill her or get her killed over and over again , if he truly had done it all for revenge for his beloved he wouldn't have inflicted the same pain he suffered from upon others , for me he did it solely for power .

and hey that is just my opinion , everyone is free to watch for themselves .
