Well, starting today, we're going to be on a short dry period(from the 3rd to the 8th). It's the holidays over in South Korea, and as such, there will be special programs(presumably related to those holidays) in place of the timeslot where the drama normally airs.
The drama won't air until after next week(which we already know at this point) because next week is essentially a holiday week for Korea(Chuseok Day and Hangul Day). Special programs related to those holidays will likely air instead.
I saw the ad this morning and saw October 13th too and wondered why so long as well. I wonder if we are getting…
I almost forgot about it(I follow a bit of news/various TV programs here and there), but it's probably because of the holidays. There's Chuseok, which I imagine even non-natives are a bit knowledgeable on(this year it starts on the 6th and ends the 8th KST, with the 8th being a substitute holiday).
But there is also National Foundation Day(starts tomorrow the 3rd), and Hangul Day(October 9th).

Oh, I just noticed the episode count - I'm by no means a stranger to KBS weekend dramas, which are typically 50 episodes, but I still remember there was talk about KBS wanting to reduce the episode duration from 50 to 30(this was happening during the airing of Beauty and Mr Romantic) - I suppose it's nothing more than just a dream at this point?
I hope he wasn't suffering in his last moments(though it's highly unlikely since this happened not too long after it was revealed he was being prosecuted for DUI).
