Title Tokyo Tribe
This movie is epic, son! Everywhere Ai to Makoto failed, Tokyo Tribe succeeded. Sono Sion really hit a grand slam with this one! I loved the criticism about war and the good positive message in the end. Not to mention the crazy awesome ride to get there, haha! So much fun! I think I'm going to watch it again!

Title Long Goodbye
The cinematography in this drama is freaking amazing. I loved the cinematography so much. The story is pretty good, not too amazing, but they executed it really well. The acting is really good. And the ending was a lot better than I thought it was going to be, since part of the story was pretty easy to figure out. But they brought it together nicely. Story - 8, Cinematography - 10, Acting - 9, OST - 9. Overall - 9.

Title Long Goodbye
One of the quality Japanese dramas out there. I highly recommend this.
Yes, the cinematography is just, oh my god, so good.

I think that Sitsuren Chocolatier is underrated.... But probably no one actually understood the drama.. Can't…
Yea, people kinda missed how it's more about life and learning from your mistakes during your young adult relationships rather than just the right couple getting together. It's a personal fav of mine. I don't even care about the haters.

meh, I wish the results were more diversified and that better dramas would have won, but at least they're all good dramas.

Good article. I agree on the ones I watched (Roosevelt Game, Wakamonotachi, Black President and Alice no Toge) and it makes me want to watch the ones I didn't (the yays I mean).

Now Nobunaga is winning or almost winning everything. That makes me happier than when Bitter Blood was winning everything, but I would still like to see more diversity with the results.

I'm so glad you liked it more the 2nd time around! I loved it the first time. Yes, the anti-procrastination message hit me really hard, and I loved the friendship and youth part of this drama. I also liked what you called the thin thread of small changes that win the war in the end. Great review!

I skipped the ones where I didn't see at least more than one of the titles, which was actually most of the categories…
I agree with you 100%, except on the bleh year. This year was great! It had a bunch of really great dramas (Roosevelt Game, Ashita Mama ga Inai, Kazokugari, Wakamonotachi, Gomen ne Seishun, Nobunaga Concerto, N no Tame ni just to name a few).

Oh my! Bitter Blood is so overrated, yet not in the overrated category. I want to cry. I just want to understand…
I'm going to be so bitter if Bitter Blood wins everything!

- Why vote for something when you don't have anything to compare it against? - I voted Kazokugari for almost everything.…
While I don't like the polls for this very reason (the majority of people haven't seen enough 2014 dramas to compare them to each other), Kazokugari for the win! It's definitely in my top 3 best dramas of the year!
