Awesome! These are the dramas that should have won the awards. I've seen all of them except Yakou Kanransha, but I plan to watch that soon. They were all excellent tho. The only one missing is Saikou no Rikon.

(Side Note: It is now 2014. Sometime after writing this article, I saw Osozaki no Himawari and I realized that it was my favorite drama of 2012. So if I had the chance to rewrite this article then I would definitely knock Beginners off this list and put Osozaki no Himawari on it.)
And yeah, you should watch Golden Slumber. It's a movie with him in it. Don't read the synopsis. Just watch it. That's what I did, and it added more surprise.

Awesome! I've watched it twice now and I liked it just as much or more the 2nd time. Which is a compliment for me because I'm not a rewatcher. I want to watch it again soon.
yeah it was bad, especially since he could have been happy with Erena if he hadn't chosen to go that route with Saeko. But you live and you learn, and they did.
