The viewing figures from yesterday was quite lukewarm in Taiwan. 160 thousand views for two eps. Trapped got more than 220 thousand for ep 1 on the first day. I guess the school setting is not so interesting to some fans. Hope it will get better with the upcoming eps.

I think the first 4 eps will be free since Taiwan's version is like this. But after that, international fans might have to wait to watch it if don't buy the VIKI pass.

And based on the story and the title, the main leads might get seperated for some time due to some issues, just like what Wayne once said it's like a bl version of Our Times. I personally hope the disease thing won't happen. It's so old soap opera cliche.

You can watch it on VIKI. They have engsub already and it's free. I personally love Yu Xi Gu the most as well. I really like the hardworking underdog figure. As for the local fans, they thinkthe gang of the main lead are all more good-looking than the 4 main leads.

Hmmm...I think some fans won't like it that much due to that long ass scene Xiang Hao Ting did with his girlfriend. I personally don't mind it since that girl is the one who brings them together. As long as she's gone as soon as possible, I'm all fine.

1. Mainland Chinese hated some parts of the story of Trapped and they even sent death threat to Chris on his weibo. Chis even wrote a message, asking them to stop.
2. Chris once said they would have a hot and steamy scene. Mainland Chinese thought it's a bed scene in ep 17(?). But it turned out there's no bed scene in that ep. Fans were outraged and kept attacking the director when they did the live stream. And Chris even apologized for his description for that scene. But it's not enough for them. They then attacked the director on her Instagram and the director had to close her account for some time. And what I mentioned above were not the whole mess for Trapped. But these two were the major ones.
I hope international fans can support the actors for their effort after the release. These young actors have been bashed on weibo for their looks. Since when did people judge a show merely for the looks ? This is really beyond my understanding. Based on the reviews and the trailer, I can see it will be another great work that people will rememeber and recommend when it comes to bl. Can't wait for tomorrow.
