Now 10 episodes in (aka the episode I have been waiting for lmao) I’m absolutely loving it still. I love the slow burn relationship dynamics between Eiw and Cake, I also love the total role reversal that now we’re seeing Cake be the super obvious jealous person while Eiw has found his confidence and made new friends. So far this series has definitely been a 10/10, so I’m hoping the last 4 episodes keep up the great quality, acting and chemistry!

I know, I’ve just got around 7 series that I’m planning to watch in November alone and now this is another one I need to find the time to watch😅

I’m kind of the same, I did enjoy the episode despite the second hand embarrassment but my rating is about 7.5 so far. It’s one of the main reasons I ignore negative ratings, cause there are plenty of series I’ve enjoyed just for the humour but gave a lower rating because the series overall wasn’t great. I’m hoping it’s gonna get more bearable and my rating will change 🤞

Copying and pasting my review from my reply below now that I finally watched the episode. I actually kind of liked it, but I think they should have made it more into a sitcom than just a comedy. Sitcom’s have a certain humour to them that this series had, for a comedy this was way too over the top, so I think they should have pushed it into a sitcom style. I don’t know if this will make sense to anyone that hasn’t watched sitcom’s before, but it feels like they’ve taken comedic jokes and turned them into a sitcom style, which is why they were more cringey than funny. Other than that I thought it was funny and cute, it was very cringey but I’ve watched SCOY so I can handle cringe😅. There were moments like where Mai nicknamed Jade the “middleman” and he started spinning that I thought was a little too much, and Jade’s voice was quite annoying but those are my only complaints so far. With all the heavy, depressing and NC scenes in other series I’m currently watching, I feel like this was a nice break away from that. Unfortunately I watched Last Twilight first so coming from that to this definitely gave me a whiplash in terms of the acting and quality😂😂

…Oh no, came to check what people thought of the first episode just to see it’s got a 6.9 rating already. I’m still gonna watch it anyway, people have given low ratings to so many domundi series that I’ve loved so I’ll be ignoring reviews and waiting to form my own opinions. I don’t mind series that are cringe or over the top so I’ll be back when I’ve finished the episode😅

I knew as soon as the original trailer was released that I was going to love this series, but the first episode far surpassed my already high expectations. Everything about it was so beautiful from the acting to the cinematography. The first episode is there to set up the plot so I sometimes find the start a little boring, but I was so captivated by this. I just know this series is going to make me cry many times, I’m already scared of the episode 11 curse lmao. Waiting each week for more episodes is going to be torture 😩😭

Finally found the time to start this series and even though I’m 1 episode in I loved it. I’m loving the “old-school” feeling the first episode has and obviously SantaEarth’s chemistry is on another level. Can’t wait to finish this!

Don’t get me wrong, it was good and I did enjoy it, but the storyline was so confusing that I struggled to follow the plot. I definitely recommend giving the first few episodes a go, but a lot of people dropped this when it was airing cause we didn’t understand what was happening. Best advice is try it and see what you think.

How did I not realise until now that this is based off one of my favourite manhwa’s?!!! It wasn’t until they said the gamer tag “idealise” that I remembered it. I’m only halfway through the first episode but I’m even more excited now!!!!

I’m a little scared for this, I love EarthMix but I honestly hated Ossan’s Love so I’m hoping EM’s chemistry can save this for me. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Kind of. Max is playing one of the 5 mafia bosses so he’ll be in several scenes but he won’t be the main focus if that makes sense. From what I know he’s much more involved in the second book compared to the first so depending on how they adapt this, it will reflect the screen time he’ll get.

People are so negative lmao. This was super sweet and lighthearted. It definitely reminded me of SIMM but better in my opinion. I’d love to see more from JoongDunk, but hopefully something away from the highschool BL’s they’ve been getting. JD’s chemistry is on another level but I feel like they’ve been getting the shorter end of the stick when it comes to the series they’re cast in. Either way, I did enjoy this series. It could have been better but it was still good and I have no regrets watching it, though I am glad I waited until it was over and binge watched it all at once instead of one episode per week.

I don’t even have the words to describe how much I’ve loved this series. I know GMMTV are notorious for hardly ever giving us BL sequels but come on, there has to be a season 2 for this!!!!!! I’m praying for Only Friends season 2 in the second part of the GMMTV 2024 trailers!

I mean, just because they’re new actors doesn’t mean they’re gonna be bad. The characters all got roles which fit them and from the looks of things they’ll have pretty good screen time each.

Congrats to Dollar and Kandis for the lead role, I definitely wasn’t expecting two newer actors to take these roles but the trailer was incredible so I’m super excited!!!
