Most information comes from the Wabi Sabi social media’s, the actors talking about it, and fan translations from interviews with the people involved. Honestly most of the information I get comes from the interviews which I get my girlfriend to translate for me since she’s Thai and also a BL fanšŸ˜…. Cooheart also talks about the project occasionally on his livestreams. If you can access any translations for it, this is a great interview with some information about the series: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZW79ucMkpIc

Yep, TonfahTyphoon and ArthitDaotok will be in part 2 so we’re gonna be waiting quite a while for their romance story’s unfortunately 😢. I remember Cooheart said in one of his livestreams that part 2 is supposed to be coming out early next year but he’s not sure about the specifics because he won’t have as many scenes to film. I think Oat has also mentioned that they’re still adjusting the script and potentially cutting out a few of the love scenes as apparently ArthitDaotok’s novel is very NSFW.

Yeah I get that, I’m personally loving HillEaster’s story here but even I’ll admit that it gets bland and slightly boring at times. I think they needed to add a little more drama to make it more interesting, I kind of wish they focused more of the family side of the drama just to give the plot a little something to push it forward. I’m loving PondEarth but their storyline is not doing them justice, they probably could have cut these past 7 episodes down to 3-4ā˜¹ļøšŸ„²

I’m definitely enjoying this series so much more when there’s a good balance in screen time between the two couples. They each give off different vibes but I think they work well together as pairings in this series. I’m seriously in love with North and Easter’s friendship and I love the contrast of HillEaster’s sweet, adorable little moments compared to JohanNorth’s chaosšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. I think we’re now coming to the end of HillEaster’s story, and even though many people aren’t enjoying their story anymore, I’ve absolutely loved them throughout this series and I’ll miss them a lot ā¤ļø. Fourever You is going to have 32 episodes in total with around 8 episodes per couple. This is part one which has 16 episodes and is only focusing on HillEaster and JohanNorth, the other 2 couples will appear in part 2 which will be another 16 episodes that they’re preparing to film soon, but I think the director New has another series he’s focusing on before part 2 starts. HillEaster’s story will probably come to an end next week and from there just have short appearances throughout JohanNorth’s story, I know the actors are having a screening event with fans for episode 8 so that’s probably going to be where HillEaster ends and JohanNorth officially steps up.

I really liked this episode, I feel like there was a good balance of screen time between the two couples and the pacing was so much better than the past 2 weeks have been. It was awesome to see Typhoon and Tonfah’s first interaction, especially from what I’ve heard about their story I think they may end up being one of my favourites. The HillEaster scenes were cute but I don’t feel like we’ve made that much progress this episode, though next week does look more promising on that regard. And now we finally have the start of JohanNorth’s story which I’m so excited about. I think this episode was probably my favourite so far and I hope the rest of the episodes follow a similar pacingšŸ¤ž

Based on the teaser it looks like Tonfah and Typhoon will also have their first interaction on screen too, plus the JohanNorth scene. Episode 6 definitely looks like it’s gonna be the best so far. This episode was cute but the pacing was a little slow, I’m hoping we get to see more about Hill and Easter’s home life, but I’m excited for their dates next week. Unfortunately we’ll be waiting a while for Arthit and Daotok, they’ll be in Fourever You part 2 which is currently being filmed, and they’re apparently from the last novel so their love story will be the last one shown. It’s going to be 2 couples for 16 episodes in each part, so around 8 episodes per couple and 32 in total for season 1 and 2.

Do we know yet if they are going to show all four couples in this season, or if there will be a second season…
The first two couples will be this season and it will cover their first year of university. The second series will show the final two couple since apparently the other couples don’t start dating until Daotok and Typhoon are in their second year according to novel readers. Each couple will probably get around 8 episodes each with some crossovers since they’re all friends.

It’s okay, I appreciate your apology and comments, I totally get how frustrating it can be to make valid criticisms only for someone to come along and have a go at you for hating on the series you’re complaining about. And that’s fair enough, New is pretty hit or miss for me as a director so I rarely have high expectations for his series, I mostly put my expectations on the actors. I’m sorry as well if any of my comments came off as rudeā¤ļøšŸ™

This series isn't getting hate. It's getting a rightful amount of critical response to what is an entirely lackluster…
I’m just going to write a shorter comment because I feel like I’ve said everything that needs to be said otherwise and I can’t tell if you’re deliberately misunderstanding me, or if I’m just not explaining this in a way you’ll understand.

I absolutely agree that hate and criticism are different things, you acknowledge that yourself correct? You mentioned you can criticise a series without hating it, but you can also hate AND criticise a series at the same time. THAT’S why I addressed my comment to reference the hate this series gets! Because most people are criticising this series (which is completely fine as I’ve already stated), and then some people are straight up hating the series and the actors involves. I wasn’t referring to the criticism, I was literally only referring to the hate. I never referred to the criticism because I think it’s totally valid and I do agree with some of it. I have many critiques about this series, even my all time favourite BL’s like Manner of Death and ITSAY have small things about them I could criticise, that doesn’t mean I hate them for it. You seem to think I can’t understand the difference between the two even though I think I’m being very clear about this. So again, criticism= fine, hate= I will ignore. Does that make it easier to understand?

And as an add on, literally the ONLY thing I said about the hate is that I don’t care about it, I didn’t say the haters suck/are annoying, I didn’t say the hate was stupid, I said I’m ignoring it.

This series isn't getting hate. It's getting a rightful amount of critical response to what is an entirely lackluster…
To be completely honest, I went back and forth over whether I should respond to your comment. On one hand I felt like I shouldn’t even bother responding, but I also think your comment about criticism was valid so I genuinely hope you will read the rest of my comment with an open mind.

If you have the time I would really like you to go back and read my original comment, then scroll backwards to the few comments and replies I’ve left on this page. If you do that, you will see that at no point have I responded and argued with the people hating or criticising this series, all my comments have been focusing on the positive aspects and the only time I brought up people who don’t like this series was to say ā€œI don’t care how much hate this series getsā€. At no point have I tried to influence the viewing experience of anyone else. Because of that, I’m genuinely asking why are you trying to ruin mine? Maybe it’s not your intention but your comments come across that you want me to suddenly start hating, or should I say criticising, this series.

I’m going to continue to sit here and say that I’m enjoying this series. For me, this takes me back to the times when I first started watching BL’s. I’m reminded of Love by Chance, 2 Moons, Make It Right, all these series that if I rewatched now I’d probably hate, but at the time I was heavily tuned in and they were the sweet innocent shows that made me happy to watch. I remember fangirling and literally squealing and kicking my feet at the romantic scenes. That’s how I’m feeling now, Fourever You isn’t some masterpiece, but it doesn’t need to be, watching it makes me feel happy and giddy. I really want to know why you seem to have a problem with that. Again, I understand that what I perceive your intentions to be when you replied to my original comment may not have been your actual intentions, but you’ve come to the comment of a person genuinely loving this series just to spew negativity everywhere. Does me finding this series enjoyable honestly bother you that much? Because why are you entitled to your criticisms but I’m not entitled to my positive feedback? We all think differently and that’s totally okay, if you don’t like the way this series is headed and don’t think PondEarth have any chemistry that’s fine, but I disagree with you which I am allowed to do.

I wanted to let you know that I will continue to make comments talking about how much I’m enjoying this show, if that’s going to bother you then I highly recommend going onto my profile and blocking me, because your criticisms will not affect my perceptions of this show and I really don’t want to keep doing this whole back and fourth every week.

I’m just going to quickly respond to your above comments to get it over with so
1: what proof are you talking about lmao. At no point did I say ā€œthe people criticising this series are wrong and here’s the proof *points to people enjoying the series*ā€, if you don’t like it then you don’t like it, but many of us do and we’re allowed to.
2: I do agree with you to some extent, New has some fantastic series in my opinion like UWMA, My Only 12%, and We Are, but he also has some awful series like LBC 2, Absolute Zero, My Gear and Your Gown etc. I like New as a person but I don’t think he’s that great of a director so I won’t disagree with you on that, but I do still think the people attacking him on social media are still taking things too far.
3: This isn’t a competition lmao. Following the books doesn’t automatically make the series better, just like deviating from the novel doesn’t necessarily make it worse. Some series like My School President and Be My Favourite changed a lot from the novel, and I think the series was much better because of those changes. So yes, Fourever You following closely to the novel doesn’t automatically make it good, but it is still a fairly accurate portrayal, at least according to novel readers.
4: Again these are your opinions, literally nowhere have I invalidated any criticisms that show has received, I’ve just said that I disagree, I do not feel the same way as you. Again, why is that a problem?

I will be honest and say that I tried to keep the tone of my comment as neutral as I can, but your reply did annoy me and I may have let some of that annoyance through with this comment. I want to be very clear that you don’t have to like this series or the direction it’s taking, nor does anyone else, but I should be able to enjoy this series and share my thoughts without people making me feel like I’m wrong for doing so. I’m going to repeat my earlier comment, that at the end of the day I might be misunderstanding your intentions by replying to me. Although in my eyes, you seem like you’re trying to turn me off from this series, that doesn’t mean that’s what you actually intended to do. If you decided to read all of this comment, which I know that I typed a lot out, I really hope we don’t have to have this whole back and fourth again. I’ll continue to watch and enjoy this show in peace, and you can continue to criticise it, there’s no need to influence anyone else here, so I’ll be here excitedly waiting for the next episode to airā¤ļø

This series isn't getting hate. It's getting a rightful amount of critical response to what is an entirely lackluster…
Respectfully I disagree. This is only part 1, we have no idea where the plot is going and, while there are speculations, we don’t actually know how they’re going to divide all the stories of all the couples. Several novel readers have said this series is doing great at following HillEaster’s novel and while I haven’t read any of the books, I trust their reviews. Because of that I wouldn’t say it’s poorly executed either. We’re getting to see Hill and Easter resume their romance along with finding out what happened with them in the past through flashbacks. I do think the pacing of the present and past flashbacks is a little weird, but there’s nothing confusing about it. It’s a love story told by an unreliable narrator, a character who only knows one side of the story and is finding out the truth of the past at the same time as the audience. There’s a difference between hate and critique, criticism is absolutely valid but if you want to refer to the absolute hate that the actors and director are getting on social media as critique then you are more than welcome to do that. Also, I said it before and I’ll say it again. PondEarth have great and natural chemistry as Hill and Easter, if you don’t see the chemistry then that’s your perspective, but I do see chemistry there and I’m loving it šŸ„°ā¤ļø
