I’m on ep 14, is her mom a narcissist because there’s no way she’s blaming her for not putting her family first when she didn’t even tell her what was going on! And is she jealous of her own daughter wth is wrong with this women.

100% agree, I have never not finished something and I can usually get absorbed into even the lower ranked shows I’ve watch but this was a challenge. FL and ML had no chemistry and the FL had one facial expression the whole time. Nobody wants to see 100 scenes of an up close mouthful of ice cream 🤢

Final thoughts, what was the point of all the abuse and trauma because the way this ended really minimized how the main characters over came it. The Evil Witch needed a different ending. Also side note that last scene where XQ wakes up is not the same place he first showed her with all the arched doorways.

Exactly, if its a designated driver service why does she keep getting him , I mean I guess since shes near his location but its a bar there probably other customers who requested someone too. Plus all the stiff you mentioned. She just seems to innocent. I know people feel bad for him because he was raised by the evil witch but in the end he needs to man up and make his own decisions so I actually hope she gets pregnant on purpose and he has to marry her so he stops being creepy with XQ and also because it will piss off the mom 😂

For those who come here and decide to watch based on these reviews hopefully you go into this keeping in mind this is not meant to be a world view changing drama its light hearted with lots fun cute moments. Its a story from the FL POV we get to see fragments of her love for the ML evolving from admiration to crush and then more. Its small snippets of her adolescence not a daily journal. Its fun it gives butterflies, the OST is really well put together and thats probably the reason it’s popular. There are definitely more serious dramas out there that others will prefer but I don’t think this is promoted to be that. There are small quirks and certain issues that may put off some like the voice of the FL but nothing you probably haven’t seen in a Cdrama before.

Hello, I totally get people have different opinions and I don’t think there will ever be any one thing that everyone likes, I myself liked this drama very much but I’m curious to know what decision she made that revolved or were because of him. I didn’t get that perception but I’m curious to know what made it that way to you. I also did not read the original story and was wondering if maybe it was like what you say more in the book.

I think there was a mutual amount of sacrifice between both, yes she went to college near him but I didn’t get the sense it was wholly because of him, she in fact let her feelings cool when she thought he had a girlfriend. He also made lots of decisions thinking only of her pretty much from the beginning even if they were platonic at first. He never interferes with her work experience but only gives advice. Also he quit his job and moved for her. Its her love story about him so we see mostly her perspective I think its a given it will show how he had an influence on her life.

Watching again and one small thing I noticed this time was when he bought her the honey he grabbed her the best “most expensive” one ☺️ And then I have a question is there a story for Sang Yan that explains how he knows so much about preparing for a baby??

Almost done, and I really like it but I’m leaning towards Hidden Love more so as my favorite.. Maybe it’s because I watched it first but I also think its a bit more mature and the characters are better fleshed out where this has less depth and stays at its baseline thorough out the series. Im thinking this one was geared toward a younger audience where hidden love is not. Both are very comforting and well done, if what I read is true and it was made buy tje same people I hope this team makes many more.
