what was wrong with Xiao Han's hand in episode 23? 😶
A bruise from the elevator's door when he suddenly got out it.

I didn't cry! I expected to shed a river of tears< but somehow the ending was very well written to give you a relief. BTW kudos to the makeup artist in the last few scenes for making Xiao looking older though only one year has passed. It's a good reflection for the caption " When she left, she became beautiful forever, and he became older."

So he lived, he kept her things, painting, toothbrsuh and mug...etc. He lived as if she were still alive. Then the ending scene at 42.30 mn. She calls for him and he is looking at her with the lyrics of "Lucid dream" asking: "Are you just a fantasy or a reality?"
That's the real question here. But since it's a Lucid DREAM, we all know she is a fantasy he lives in waiting for her to come or for him to leave one day and be with her.
It's a sad ending that was done in a very pleasant way.

I can't get over the beauty of the lighting and cinematography, and i'm a details addict, and that drama is filled with small human details that are so beautiful.
Don't make me start talking about the goofs coz it's gonna be a very long list.

You will notice a 1000000 details that indicate his love for her. Some are very subtle that i didn't get it till the 3rd watch.

In ep 23 she tells him that she pursued him firstBut in before episode it was shown that he was also interested…
She fell for his voice, and he fell for her eyes. In the very 1st meeting he noticed her eyes, and in their 2nd check his expression when she shadowed him like a summer cloud in a hot day, the cat smelled his pheromones, she smelled him when he said "it's in love" it was him who was falling in love with her at that moment. then the phone incident coz he wanted her to come back (notice him leaning the umbrella towards her, protecting her from the rain)
He made someone to finish his gardening work so he can go modeling for her.
He didn't make an obvious moves to pursue her, he seems to have his own thoughts and worries, like "Is she really into him? She is so young."
So ya, he did pursue her, but in a very subtle way.

I’m so agree. He’s on another level. If he doesn’t get many offers after this I don’t understand a thing
I just NEEEEEED 2-3 dramas for him every year, producers should milk out that idea.

I'm done tearing and crying. Now let's talk about nonsense for a little while, there are too many goofs all over the drama. One scene he is wearing a brown shoes, the other it's mustard yellow. one scene ha has a light brown a bit long hair, the other he has a jet black shorter strands. She fell down and her purse is next to her head, and the next scene it's next to her leg. I'm net picking just to prevent myself from crying again AAAAAHHHHH. 😭😭😭😭

Jerry Yan is on another level of acting skills, the man is in a league of his own.
I love the writing, they are smart people who deal and talk and understand every situation without the need to spoon-feed the audience with info. And he has the finest and nuance expressions to deliver such feelings.

It was ok but EK got away too easily with her wrongdoings. She resigned to go live quietly and teach in a small…
May be. But BaDa has been treating Ek as an inferior for a very long time that she didn't even notice it hurts. It's like a long series of small, thin fragments of wrong doings for a very long time that eventually agglomerate to create a huge cluster of anger and vengeance inside EK prompting her to do what she did. BaDa learned to live and stand strong, and Ek learned how to really live without waiting for a savior or depend on any one. As for CW... GOD! Both FLs have a terrible deteriorating taste in men!

I love the ending, it's not a real forgiveness, both the Fls know if they kept that friendship the elephant in the room will be always there. BaDa needed that slap on her face to wake up from her illusions and try wearing Ek's shoes and know how is it feel to be one of the poor hard working, "envious" people who hardly can achieve anything. As for Ek, It felt good that she lost almost everything she dreamt of and worked hard to have. It was so good of her to leave and just be relaxed woman who doesn't care much about being compared to others.
Somehow i think CW had feelings for Ek from the very beginning but he didn't acknowledge it.
The only thing i didn't like is not watching BaDa's mom die a painful death!

The drama's message is don't hold onto the wrong balloons that will fly away. Instead, hold onto the right balloons.…
Didn't they mention that they have parted 24 years ago? They've met 12 years ago? !!! If so, then why was she so angry and hurt when she knew about her Namchul and Eun San? I mean she would've been more disturbed and worry more than being hysterically hurt like that.
I like how you describe it. The real red balloons for her wasn't CW, but herself and Ba Da.
I'm ok with the forgiveness thing, kinda reminded me of an old Hindi movie KANK, There was that type of forgiveness, knowing that somethings are just not in the cards.

Quick question: Why on earth does Ba Da's mom think of herself as a classy person? Nothing of her acts or behaviors are classy at all.

I really don't mind it. This drama never focused on daughter character so take it easy.
They don't focus on any of the kids at all, it's like nobody is thinking about them!

I know angry women tend to be irrational, but how many brain cells does Bada have when she decided to create a scandal and expose them in public? Didn't she consider herself, business, and daughter at all? She seems to be very full of herself and care the most about her image, so this type of action seem a bit extreme for that type of person that she is.
