The love plot is so beautiful, the Chemistry is on fire, the cinematography and lighting are just wow, but above all else the bgm and osts are on another level. So even if it had a sad ending, it's still so good and deserves a watch.

I hate all characters so much that i need them all to be miserable for the rest of their lives. Darn they are so real!

Some of the deleted scenes were beautifully shot, it's sad that they were deleted, as they were not obscene or vulgar, they were a beautiful images of 2 beautiful people in love. I kind of hoped that Tencent release a whole uncut vr. of the series for international audience.

The hint of an affair actually makes sense. I mean, losing a girl you weren't deeply in love is not exactly the most traumatizing thing to leave everything behind a live in isolation in the very reserved manner he lived. There is a scene in ep 23 preview where he leaves her angrily and she starts to bleed and lose hair...etc. My guess he is gonna come back and sees her and understand it all, may be then the brother thing will be mentioned. The series is great, but some backstories should be mentioned.

Both theories make sense. But since the brother wasn't mentioned in the drama, the 2nd theory might be more accurate. Though i prefer the 1st one more. Poor xiao han, he is losing everyone he loves, what a curse!

The director stated that she made 3 endings for the drama and wishes that wetv will air them all. My guess is one of the endings will be her living for a few more years and may have a kid, then die when he is older ( The novel synopsis says that when they met, she was beautiful and he was forever young, but when she left, she was forever beautiful, and he became older)
The other ending will probably the original ending (her death)
The third one might be her living with him without showing the inevitable future.
