There was this C-drama with a heart wrenching ending (sorry can't recall its title) Anyway, the producers casted the same actors in a modern drama with the same names and made it like a reincarnation of their past lives. DEAR MBC PLEASE MILK THAT IDEA AND CAST THOSE 2 IN SOMETHING SIMILAR.

Their son died at the age of 4 approx. Their daughter died when she was a couple of months, and Deok Im died at the 9th month of her pregnancy as far as i know.
Personal opinion: I think the last 2 episodes should have stretched to 3-4 episodes, while the part of the secret organization of court ladies should have been omitted.

I went through it with the same expectations too, seems like a rule where movies start as a rom-com end as a melodramatic tragedy!

I like how you put it. The closure, that's what they definitely need. I hopw the producer ends with someone nice too, not necessary her or his colleague

I hope the main leads don't end up together! Love is way better when you feel comfortable with someone, not tensioned or stressed or hasseling in the dark when you are with them and know nothing about their real lives. The main leads feel very ambiguous. While each one of them looks so clear and relaxed when not around the other one. I like NJ, she is so sweet, strong girl who knows what she wants and goes clearly for it, no nonsense woman. Dunno why so much hatred for her other than the fact she is the 2nd FL!

That's the beauty of a good drama, it's a very secular industry where no matter ur age, ethnicity, language or political views, we all can enjoy a good watch with each others.

So it's gonna be a typical melodramatic over the top heart wrenching act with a death in the end of course. The typical Kdrama writing where no room for happy ending. Youth of May was not aired long time ago, I hope for a more advanced writing in this one,
