Probably her dying mother had a c-section and gave birth to her and the lawyer adopted her out of the feeling of guilt towards what happened to her family because of his withdrawal.

I love that ending. That would be the real HAPPINESS we've been waiting and searching for.

Hopefully Jung Yi Hyun will bite them to death.

He lives in fear in the shadow of his grandfather, the king who has punished him many times. He is not exactly the spoiled little teen who can not deal with rejection. It's more like a complicated unspoken, forbidden love that he knows he might not be able to fulfill, yet he, as standard male in this era of time and ofcourse a man with superiority, imposes himself a bit more than usual for guys nowadays. Life was a cruel misogynist b**ch back in those days worldwide!

Plus they share a perfect Chemistry and beautiful screen presence. Such a cute lovely on-screen couple.

I agree with you, it started with Skycastle and continued with penthouse...etc. The whole thing needs to be more focused than this, it can be a real good drama as a psychological one.

I second this theory. I think she is the sister, and the detective is a son of one of the victims.

Not sure but i think that Eugene is the doctor's sister, not the detective. She doesn't know any Korean name, and she is at the proper age, i think. By the way didn't the detective struggled with the doctor in the 1st scene in the 1st episode? He might be the real culprit here.

Historically he was married off to a noble girl at the age of 9. He had a couple of concubine with whom he had kids who were adopted by his wife who didn't bear him any children.
But the wife is not shown on the drama. And hopefully the drama won't show what really happened after they became together.

Nope, but she can captivate the audience with her narration skills and talent. It seems that he wanted to keep the people busy for some reason.

After watching the 1st 2 episodes:
1- Cool set.
2- Perfect Chemistry between the main leads, they are sooooo adorable together. Not the most beautiful onscreen couple, but definitely the cutest and coolest at least for me.
3- Plot is ok, and the narrative is quite captivating, hope it remains that way.
4- Just done reading the historical background about those 2, and i really hope the drama won't show what really happened to them, coz it's heart wrenching!

Why didn't they dubbed it?! It would have been less embarrassing.

A very well written 1st episode, yet the ending in sooooo cliché.'

I was watching with my Algerian friend and she is fluent in French, She was choking with laughter! i've no idea why exactly.

Hmmmmmm, hopefully it won't end as "all of them are ghosts except one human!"

1- Cinematography is WOW
2- Art direction is superb.
3- Music is in another level
4- Acting is super good from the 2 main male actors.
5- NOTHING SCIENTIFIC ABOUT IT AT ALL!! A dead cat sync! really? Didn't he say in the 1st episode that syncing will work only on the same species?
6- It's a bit slow, could've made a good movie.

I couldn't find any common sense in the 1st episode, it's non-science fiction! Sorry.
