I love Rain, but I still cannot get through 'Full House'- it's on my "Hold" list. I try to go back and…
It's definitely a very trying drama; though in my opinion it wasn't the actors' fault. Story was just lacking too much, included way too many other exasperating characters, and was ultimately too long.

You know, I know the drama would just have ended at 4 1/2 eps if she'd just STOP being idiotically honest (in this case, being a noble idiot), but waeeeeeeeeee??? Why must she reenter the dumb resurrection game?? Waeeeeee?!?!

1. Gong Yoo *looks around innocently*
2. Jung Yong Hwa *as long as we could be friends afterwards*
3. Seo In Guk *I'd want to raise a puppy together with him* ;)
I've only watched Jewel in the Palace (and it took me a couple months), but I'd like to get started on Queen Seon Duk. I doubt I'd be able to marathon-watch it in only 5 days though :P

Haha! I wasn't really liking it for the first 5-6 eps, and was just watching because I didn't feel like anything else. Then BAM! I got invested in the drama big time. Now even my husband is watching it with me xD
In my case the dramas that have been success as turning other people into drama watchers: - You're Beautiful (the…
Hana Kimi definitely works, even for the non-manga people. Although, random by-standers (or over-the-shoulder watchers) tend to get this scared look on their faces when they only see a scene or 2. Probably would be better if they'd just sit down and watch the whole thing..
LOL at your a-few-words summary of Full House. it's soooo true! all they did were eat, clean & argue which…
I've introduced people to Jdramas with Nobuta. I think it also sort of works as a guy-drama, since the romance is so low key. Worked so far on several people, including my husband. Yay!
Coffee Prince can be a good one - if you walk your friends through it episode by episode. I plopped a few of my best friends down a couple evenings a month and had them marathon-watch it, but it definitely needed some coaxing (especially for the guy) to keep watching. Once you can get through though, I think it's a usually a keeper.
I never start with movies.. maybe I should revise my plans. But I usually don't have the patience to watch a 3 hour movie (Rather watch 3 drama episodes..) Shhh, I know it's weird. It's just a mental thing. xD

All this time I've been refusing to buy Sherlock, and what does Peter do this afternoon? Get into a total SHINee mood, and bought it ( and another song off that album ) for his new kpop mix cd.

I can't get enough of it! I'm really surprised at how they can take a story that seems cliche and typical, and make it so compelling with each and every character. You should start watching it! :D
very interesting article!thanks for sharing your theory. i'm not quite sure if we can really continue the revolution…
I'm one of those people who stumbled across the dramas first, and started from there. :) I do have a slightly hard problem convincing my friends to watch, or be the tiniest bit interested, but I've converted most of my immediate family :D
I never really thought Cha Seung Jo could be so fascinating a character! Now even my husband is addicted to the drama, because of how crazy that guy is :D Thank you, Drama Overlords for continuing to surprise me in more ways than one.
So, if it's 7pm my time, what time is it in your part of the world? Just trying to figure out our time difference...

Man those were hard picks! XD

And yes, all the hours Big took away from me, please (except for the scenes with Gong Yoo.. I'll keep those)
