I disagree with I Can Hear Your Voice's Min Joon Kook. He wasn't the least bit boring. He was entertaining as…
I don't think Min Jook Gook was that boring - the reason I put him at mid-level villain status is because most of how the story portrayed him was a little too cliche, and the revelation of his back story felt like an afterthought (I know it wasn't) but after the drama spent so much time on his villainous deeds to make us want to hate him as much as we possibly can, and THEN they spin it to where there's a motivator.. it makes him more understandable as a character, but from a storytelling perspective it felt cheap. Truly though, it was the actor who made that role work. That guy was fantastic.
And, haha I don't think I ever want to see Queen Ambition now Lol. Thanks for the warning.
I'm not a big fan of cartoon villains, but I also appreciate characters who are just assholes with no redeeming…
Lady Cha was fantastic!! I just remembered her. Yes, now that is the definition of a villain that I wanted to rip her hair out, and she lived to make mayhem for so long and was the root cause of so many other wonderful people's demise and yet.. when she died, I actually wept. I watched her practically float off that cliff and I can still the scene and I cried at the waste of her life. Yes, that's a great character.
I'm glad you wrote this article. The ones that really grind my gears are either: 1. I'm a cultured villain, I…
Ugh. Those cliches absolutely kill me. Why must classical music be a sign of classy villainy? Huh? And I whistle when I'm happy sometimes. It doesn't mean I'm up to no good. But the third one drives me absolutely nuts - especially in sageuks: - someone says a politically chilling threat... let's all laugh because we know someone's gonna die but we can't do anything about right now. Smirk to complete scene. Bravo.

You too! :)
Wow though you've watched a ton more dramas than I have :P
I must be reading something wrong, but Park Kwang Hyun is 36. He was born in 1977. Interesting article though.…
It's fixed now. There was a different person with the same name.

Lol I try not to look at my CW list. It makes me angsty when I'm watching over 5 dramas at once - you can imagine how I feel about it now! :O
I promised myself I wouldn't become a huge exo fan.. and.. yeah well that failed. :)
I think I could pull off the 'weirdo look' the easiest. Less instructions to follow. xD

I'm kind of in a drama rut (though I don't always look that way). Just plugging away watching whatever's on my queue. Looking for something spectacular to take my breath away..
And yup! Xiumin's my bias. Tao the bias wrecker.. along with about 10 other guys in that group. :)
