yes, having each of these paper characters break out/gaining conscious from their scripted self to discover that they're not just simply NPCs. i'm totally loving this concept! i think everyone is gonna get character growth here. also the whole comedy aspect, i think im gonna have a blast with this drama.

the FL sees them all as characters written to follow a script, basically NPCs. this drama being an original script makes everything more exciting. especially when we're trying to piece together all the little bit of context they give us from the trailers. so so exciteddd as well!!

at first, she doesn't know that li shiliu is nan heng. he is masked and is seen as an "independent variable" by song yimeng, which means that he originally did not belong to the storyline. so while she is planning to kill nan heng, she uses this independent variable (li shiliu) in order to kill nan heng (in the trailer, he was standing next to her when she was discussing about her plan to kill nan heng LOL). the thing is we don't know for sure if li shiliu is the awakened version of nan heng, or a whole different character. netizens were speculating that he must be the awakened version of nan heng.

based on the trailers, it seems like she comes to love li shiliu first (without knowing that he is nan heng)

ADWAD is rated as an S+ drama, there were already rumors of it to air around june/july a few months back so likely they had it planned already. considering it being a high budget drama, the producers have high hopes that this drama will do well. about your question regarding early reviewers, yes the platform does randomly pick a couple people to review the first 5 eps or something. not entirely sure how it works, but a few ppl say its part of a marketing strategy.
