I haven't watched this series yet, I see there is a new series similar to The Journey of ChongZi, The Starry Love, which one is better?

one of the advantages of this series, made as real as possible each scene , no nonsensical martial arts fight scenes, that's how it is in real life, the fights are street fights. the people who lost their land by unscrupulous rich people and government officials / aristocrats make sense with real life now . the director, the actors and actresses, the screenwriters and all the crew in this series, did a marvellous job in making this series interesting.

I hope this series is finished, not still continuing. usually Zhang Ruo Yun's series always continues season 2 like Joy of life and Sword Snow Stride, and in the end the season 1 always ends to make us curious. Like Joy of life, the end of the first season's story makes me curious, and I've been waiting for the second season for years.I hope this series in episode 14 the story is finished, don't make a serialised ending.

I'm still curious about Shuai Jia Mo's character, whether he's really weird and autistic or just pretending, I'm trying to guess the storyline of the series, whether all this is arranged by Jia Mo, he pretends to be a strange and stupid person to trick everyone until he can finally take revenge and can restore his father's good name and reputation, I think in the first episode the incident at the gambling house was arranged by Jia Mo to meet a father and his daughter who had a debt and had to pay by giving up his land and in the end the case went to court, I think this was arranged by Jia Mo, so that the Silk Poll Tax case could be exposed, but I also think that this was all arranged by Lawyer Cheng,. Mr. Cheng built his own image as a cunning, greedy, obnoxious person, Mr. Cheng already knew Jia Mo's prowess in mathematics, so he arranged everything and finally Jia Mo dismantled the Silk Poll Tax case and was able to bring down Mr. Fan, there was a scene where he saved Jia Mo and Feng Bao Yu while they were sleeping, or I also thought that Jia Mo and Lawyer Cheng worked together to arrange this all but looking at the 10th episode it seems like they have no cooperation at all. Yes, the director is smart, he realized that the series has many shortcomings, especially the lovers of the wuxia series are very disappointed with this series, finally he didn't want to make an ending that made a lot of people disappointed, so he followed the market taste, namely happy ending and lots of romantic scenes and kisses :)

At first I thought whether the people in this series pay taxes by paying silk or the term silk has a different meaning.

I only know about poll tax which is a tax per head but I am confused about the word silk, I am still confused about what is meant by silk, am I wrong in translating the word silk in my language, I am not good at English terms.

I'm still confused in the English subtitles there is a sentence silk poll tax, this series discusses the case of silk poll tax, why should there be the word silk? Why not just poll tax? Is silk poll tax different from poll tax? silk poll tax is what tax?

Yes, maybe lovers of romantic series who don't like this series, maybe ... they want a lot of stories that have a romantic story,, there is a mystery, there is a funny,,, the cinematography is good, the storyline must be good,, anyway there must be everything,, it's hard to find a complete series like that :)
