On Tell Me What You Saw Feb 21, 2020
What I like about Tell Me is the symbolism of the Russian Dolls (as seen in ep 6) - layers within layers. Like an onion, each layer is being peeled back one step at a time to reveal who is behind it all, we get to see Hyun Jae one layer at a time and Hwa Young is much more complex than she seems...

Updated episodes from last week (13-14) still going strong. This weeks preview of episodes 15-16 shows how real…
I think it will finish strongly. I appreciate the way they are handling the relationships, friendships and loyalties.

A wonderful and uplifting show has come to an end. Hot Stove League took us on a wonderful ride with Baek Seung Soo as the magic carpet transporting the Dreams to its final destination. Great stories, fabulous acting by everyone and a conclusion that left us with wanting to see more. It doesn’t get much better than this :)

Title Forest
I’m at the end of ep 5(10) and glad I persisted with Forest. It came into its own during ep 3 (6). Our OTP have an amusing/bickering/endearing relationship with some very funny moments - the scene with the lizard was pure comedy. The secondary leads are good too. Oh Bo Mi with the snake - not everyone could handle it as well as that :)

Title My Holo Love
Holo is one of those rare shows where the second half is so much better than the first half. You can be involved with the story as much as you want, or not as the case may be. Is it tropey, as others have said? Yes. So, you can either pause and reflect on Show’s social commentary or just enjoy it as a story re lost souls and how they find each other. Either way: Enjoy :)

At the end of ep 12, I said to myself “Touch deserves a rating well into the 8s”. There are good performances all round along with some memorable characters. It’s still far from certain where the story will end up :)

So, Diary has come to an end. I will miss it because I want to see more of the characters as they continue on with the lives. Those final scenes made me smile :)

Not a bad “road buddy” movie so to speak. I thought the second half was better than the first half. The characters were good and some of the more poignant moments were well done. There was also plenty of action to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Baseball is not just about the game itself. Everything in life is not just about the spotlight. The backstage…
Absolutely! It’s like our Operations Manager says, he is all about business, not his personal circumstances. OJS is good in anything he is in and plays diverse roles: When the Camellia Blooms and Touch Your Heart, to name a few.

I would like to start to watch this with a friend who has watched and liked only 3 k-drama: Stranger, Prison Playbook…
Yes, I think he would. It’s a quality show: the characters, the detail, the stories.

A great start with Jang Hyuk as charismatic as ever. I like the cat and mouse aspect that gives Tell Me much more depth compared to some serial killer stories of late along with almost film noir qualities at times.
