End of Week 4 (Ep 20): as per Week 3, this set of 5 episodes continued to deliver. For my mind, Family Register is shaping up as the best daily kdrama in many years.
End of Week 3 (Eps 11-15): show has really hit its stride with strong storytelling and good performances. What I like about the characters is that there is another layer underneath them. Not like the earlier dailies where if they were bad, they just yelled and screamed non stop. So yes, I like Se Ri. I look forward to the working relationship between Se Ri and the younger brothers.
For my mind, a cracking start. Subtle compared to A Shop For Killers 2, but just as enjoyable. A very good cast and Hyo Jin is rocking the role. Funniest scene: lettuce leaf put on TL 2’s shoulder in the lift by TL 3. I’m looking forward to more of the gadgets, ML and detective interactions and T3 dynamics 😊
Ep 6: I am enjoying this so far. It’s the best of this type of kdrama thriller I have seen. That’s not say I haven’t felt like throwing my footstool through the tv screen at times though!
Finished Week 1: I think it’s the best start to a daily for a number of years. It is a very good cast, with PSY making her way back into dramas. The level of makjang is about right as it’s not too over the top. The production values are good and the interconnection of the future relationships is unfolding nicely 😊
Ep 9 was awesome. It didn’t put a foot wrong for me. In fact, show as a whole is a breath of fresh air. Ji Yun is so honest with her thoughts and Si Yoo is working so hard on himself, What’s not to like!
Eps 3 and 4 were superb. I enjoyed the nods to the classic atmosphere found in movies a long (and I mean) long time ago. SHS is pulling out all the stops here - yet again. What a fine actress she is and GM is coming along in leaps and bounds 😊
I enjoyed the first two episodes. I liked that there is time to digest what is going on and I liked the acting too. The leads are, in my view - awesome
Yo. Can you get beyond Victoria's acting? Should I start this drama now or not?I know her acting. I've watched…
In my view, Victoria is rocking this role - the first in a very long time. The chemistry is there too. As for the fight sequences, they are very, very good. The moments re her “spear sisters in law” are awesome. Joe Chen as the Princess Elder adds a whole new dynamic to the show. I like the story too. It’s worth watching eps 3 and 4 and then trying out some more.
