At the end of Ep 22 and The Banker continues to be very good viewing. I’m not so sure about the validity of how the Audit Office is being treated (the level of interference would normally see criminal proceedings undertaken) still it makes for compelling viewing. Good machinations and plotting by the schemers and the question still remains: “what is President Kang’s real objective?”
Which one is the main couple? Our male lead and his ex wife? Cuz I'm in!! Love them so much!! I really hope they…
Yes, they are the main couple and I think they are really good together. It looks like they just might reconcile - at least they are on the same page for now.
I have to say at the halfway point, Inspector Jo has become my favourite watch at the moment. The last two episodes were fabulous with entertaining and clever misdirection along with wonderful interactions (especially our secondary couple) and perfectly played takedowns.
I have to agree totally here. I’m even at the point of not bothering with the final episode. Another example…
Despite my misgivings, I watched the final episode. It was a fitting conclusion and made up for some of my disappointment with the more recent episodes. Nana continued to impress and the others continued strongly. What this drama could have been :)
The synopsis that is written here bothers me though. Si Tu Mo's days aren't shaken up, Gu Wei Yi becomes a part…
I enjoy even those little moments like when Si Tu Mo says to Gu Wei Yi “take your medicine” and he does without question, or when she tries to listen in on his conversations. Even when they are at cross purposes, they seem to work things through. The bandaid on Circle was a nice touch. Yes, Fu Pei is a waste of space, but hopefully he has a meaningful relationship with Si Tu Mo’s friend.
At the end of Ep 10 and I can still say I am enjoying From Survivor to Healer very much. Things are unfolding at a nice pace. Even though Chen Yi Fan seems a bit over the top at times, he has a pleasant side to him and I’m sure his idiocy will disappear at some point. It’s nice to watch a drama without the male leads being obnoxious or nasty towards the female lead. It’s also nice for there to be enough space for Yan Shun Ren and Sun Shu to reconnect.
The storyline and dialogue are the weakest links in this drama. Starts out with thought provoking suspense and…
I have to agree totally here. I’m even at the point of not bothering with the final episode. Another example of good acting wasted on a fizz out script.
It’s a good drama up until episode 12ish. Then it goes all crazy. I’m tired of the reincarnation endings,…
I really like what you had to say here. My sentiments exactly re a timeline reset and it was a great cast wasted in the end. We had such an interesting premise happening that included a very special relationship between our lead pair, along with other relationships/friendships that were quite different and enjoyable to watch. It’s seems implausible to me that HSJ didn’t have more fire power earlier on as a shaman. The story was building up that way, then it changed so dramatically. Anyway, Possessed is proof that keeping your fingers crossed when watching a show and hoping for a better outcome just doesn’t work :)
I feel like Se Hyun has gotten the bad end of the stick this whole drama. There have definitely been moments when…
I thought the latest episode was quite good. With Se Hyun, he has gotten the bad end of the stick, reinforced by Ms Hong’s “Mommy Dearest” behaviour (I quite like how well BEH has played this role). However, I get the feeling his final scheme will be quite self centred.
To me the older actors steal the show. Some of the comic elements by them are so well done. SoYoo’s part continues to be quite solid and I like how throughout the series she has addressed issues head on. She has a lot to give, but won’t let fools take advantage of this. As for Seo Joon, it’s hard to see a positive outcome with 16 episodes remaining, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.
For a daily show, despite my frustrations at times, I have rated Gangnam Scandal: 8.5/10.
I want to watch this but the summary sounds sooooo boring zzzzzzz It's 2019 and China's modern dramas are unimaginative…
I think this show is very good. The summary doesn’t really do it justice. The cases are quite interesting and the story of our leads and other characters is woven in between these quite well.
There is also at the moment If I Can Love You So, which I think is very good. The interaction between the two leads is something rarely seen in any drama. Then if you want something that is a real delight have a look at Put Your Head On My Shoulder.
God, this drama is so damn heartbreaking! I seriously couldn’t stop crying in episode 14. The cast is so amazing,…
It was hard watching and tragic to boot. Let’s hope that somehow there is some level of reset once the villain is destroyed and those that have passed come back to life. I know I’m asking a bit much for a Kdrama to do this, but our wonderful cast need some sort of happy closure
