On A Journey to Meet Love May 15, 2019
Having completed 29 episodes, this drama continues to be very watchable. It is a road movie of sorts - there is glorious scenery, along with a magical insight into so many places, we have developing relationships, a little bit of citizens doing the right thing and sins of the past. The bad guys aren’t too successful (well they are hopeless, actually), the assassin is a bit of a wimp and Kevin’s dad is a drama queen. Kevin’s mum is a real trooper though. Tina and her grandmother are a nice touch too. As for our OTP - I like how their relationship is continuing to grow bit by bit. We just need some of the others to find a bit of romantic happiness too.

This drama has been like crack, I just can not stop watching.
I agree. You roll from one episode to the next before you know it

Title Gangnam Scandal Spoiler
I am finding now that the Dad’s ongoing reaction to So Yu is just way too much. Most normal people (lol - this…
Yes, her father is an absolute shocker. He’s not even grateful with what he has with them now. He’s lucky the girls haven’t changed the locks to their apartment. To stand by his daughters he would need to stand up to his wife. That being said, he clearly has a soft spot for So Dam.

Both dads are jerks and extremely selfish. Both had an opportunity with the latest revelation to embrace So Yu, but yet again failed to do so. I’m sure she will have the last “laugh” though :)

Title Gangnam Scandal Spoiler
More plots ahead there's on a few episodes left ... ugg the angst. The whole keeping the pregnancy a secret is…
I am finding now that the Dad’s ongoing reaction to So Yu is just way too much. Most normal people (lol - this lot aren’t normal), wouldn’t keep going on the way he does even if they still were not able to appreciate what a lovely person So Yu really is.

Either we will have a miracle ending or not. However, at this point it’s not looking too miraculous.

this is such a fun drama!! i wonder why it's not popular internationally
It’s a great show. It has a bit of everything in it and I like how the bad guys really don’t understand how Inspector Jo thinks and goes about his work - they can’t really pin him down for too long!

On I Hate You, Juliet! May 3, 2019
Well, I thought I Hate You Juliet was okay. It was clearly a drama where the older actors were willing to help out on a young person’s project. Sure, it seemed to lose its way at times, and it was disjointed here and there, but it was a nice show.

Title The Banker
I'd say he's corrupted and angry after all these years. You need power to survive, he did everything he could…
Yes, I think you have described what has happened to President Kang quite well. It would seem bank misconduct is a hot topic and was the subject of a royal commission in my country that concluded recently. The banks here started making changes to their practices long before the final report was handed down.

I did see the trailer for Default somewhere along the way and thought to myself that I would watch it sometime.

Thank you for pointing out the two up and coming Japanese shows. They look interesting as well :)

Title The Banker
At the end of Ep 22 and The Banker continues to be very good viewing. I’m not so sure about the validity of how the Audit Office is being treated (the level of interference would normally see criminal proceedings undertaken) still it makes for compelling viewing. Good machinations and plotting by the schemers and the question still remains: “what is President Kang’s real objective?”

Which one is the main couple? Our male lead and his ex wife? Cuz I'm in!! Love them so much!! I really hope they…
Yes, they are the main couple and I think they are really good together. It looks like they just might reconcile - at least they are on the same page for now.

The plot is pretty weak because stuff keeps flipping and judging from the preview of next week, more of the same…
It was worth watching the last two episodes alone just for the campaign supporters dance routines...

On Special Labor Inspector Mr. Jo Apr 30, 2019
I have to say at the halfway point, Inspector Jo has become my favourite watch at the moment. The last two episodes were fabulous with entertaining and clever misdirection along with wonderful interactions (especially our secondary couple) and perfectly played takedowns.

Despite my misgivings, I watched the final episode. It was a fitting conclusion and made up for some of my disappointment with the more recent episodes. Nana continued to impress and the others continued strongly. What this drama could have been :)

The synopsis that is written here bothers me though. Si Tu Mo's days aren't shaken up, Gu Wei Yi becomes a part…
I enjoy even those little moments like when Si Tu Mo says to Gu Wei Yi “take your medicine” and he does without question, or when she tries to listen in on his conversations. Even when they are at cross purposes, they seem to work things through. The bandaid on Circle was a nice touch. Yes, Fu Pei is a waste of space, but hopefully he has a meaningful relationship with Si Tu Mo’s friend.

On From Survivor to Healer Apr 28, 2019
At the end of Ep 10 and I can still say I am enjoying From Survivor to Healer very much. Things are unfolding at a nice pace. Even though Chen Yi Fan seems a bit over the top at times, he has a pleasant side to him and I’m sure his idiocy will disappear at some point. It’s nice to watch a drama without the male leads being obnoxious or nasty towards the female lead. It’s also nice for there to be enough space for Yan Shun Ren and Sun Shu to reconnect.

I have to agree totally here. I’m even at the point of not bothering with the final episode. Another example of good acting wasted on a fizz out script.
