I’m sad to say we went from a great premise regarding supernatural items, with a wonderful relationship between uncle and niece, contrasted by a big dose of crazy zany evilness (all underpinned by some superior acting by KKW), to what I can only call gloop :)
Wondrous drama so far. (♥_♥)THIS is what you get when you put together a bunch of real actors/actresses in…
The Banker is a firm favourite of mine. In fact, I ditch all the other shows as soon as it pops up each week. Some of my favourite actors are in this show and their level of professionalism does shine through. As for AWY, I’m not convinced of his role in the Banker either, but I do see glimpses of possibilities.
One of the best Lakorns out there. Our lead couple were very good together as were the secondary couple. There is a bit of everything in this show and a pleasant watch overall despite some of the subject matter. I found the humourous moments were very funny.
Touch Your Heart was a cute, lovey dovey drama. To my mind you have two lead actors who pulled off their respective roles perfectly. I also appreciated the time spent on the side stories and how they addressed the challenges relationships face from outside influences.
Why does this show not have better ratings ?It is all that a saeguk should be -intense story, good plotting, thrilling…
I have found, that for me, in the latest episodes it tends to have spikes of real interest and some great moments and then it tails off quickly into very ordinary story telling. The political moments are very good, but I find the inspectors and the legal system are so so and the baddies, the Crown Prince’s personal life and the palace (apart from the Queen Dowager) have become watered down for me. I am on the cusp of dropping it. But the ending to episode 28 (14) has made me want to look at what is going to happen next.
6 episodes down and enjoying every minute. It’s good old entertainment - no one is too smart, the leads are a hoot together (KGE is fabulous in this), the neighbour is not creepy for a change (a dash of bromance) and there is just enough suspicion to keep you guessing. Our heroine’s mum is a nice touch too.
A short, quirky watch. The leads were good, the plot was a bit distracted and unfinished in places. There are worse ways to fill in a morning or afternoon.
