bro is this based on jittiRain another novel or is she just screenwriter ⁉️
I think she wrote an original script for this as the screenwriter. I don't think it is based off an novel, but she may publish and write a novel for it later. I have seen that happen with Thai dramas before, or at least, I think I remember that happening with a GMM TV drama or two.

Mike said in an interview that speed and love will air this year in Q4 , also speed and love did on spot voice…
Well, that makes me feel better. I didn't want to get my hopes up for nothing since I'm pretty used to most Chinese dramas taking a while to be released.

They weren't able to finish the dubbing for this drama last year because of that, I think. She started working…
None at all. Zhao Lu Si is still struggling with her short term memory, so memorizing lines is too hard for her at the moment. She is also waiting to make sure her illness doesn't relapse because the doctor said it could do so within a six month time frame. She is taking it easy at the moment. I think the actor playing the second male is currently filming another drama. There is also rumors of a lot of trouble behind the scenes with the production for "Almost Lover", with one of the rumors being that the work conditions for the drama may have been partly why Zhao Lu Si got sick. At this point, nothing has been confirmed, and there has been no news in several months about what may be happening with "Almost Lover". It's all up in the air right now.

Am I the only one that thinks this drama won't air this year? I feel like it's pretty unusual for a Chinese drama to air in the same year that is has been filmed because of all the reviews and stuff they have to go through to get the license to air in the first place, and that is on top of the editing and dubbing that needs to be done before release. I know I saw a comment somewhere that iQiyi has it tentatively set to air in Q4 of this year, but that feels a bit like a stretch to me when the drama only finishing filming in March. I think it is more likely air early next year, but I really hope I'm wrong and it does come out this year.

I thought they didn’t finish filming because of Lusi health condition at the time of filming
They weren't able to finish the dubbing for this drama last year because of that, I think. She started working on the dubbing in May. The drama that she couldn't finish filming because of her health is "Almost Lover". This drama had already finished filming by the time she got sick.

Wait what, I thought this airs on the 17th of June? It doesn't?
That was just a rumor. As of right now, Tencent hasn't said what the official release date is. All we know is that it will air "soon".

I think we will get Khemjira after TNP then LUAT will be next 💚
LUAT hasn't even started filming yet, while Khemjira is two-thirds of the way through filming. Both will likely require a lot of editing. I don't see either one airing directly after The Next Prince ends, but Khemjira has a head start. It seems more likely that they will air that one next. Maybe not till Q4 of the year at the earliest, though.

no there’s only 2 beacuse it seems like Mnet is scared that a Chinese contestant will be center again 😒 they…
I don't think that is the case anymore. Mnet made an announcement that there is going to be just one big group now. Apparently Planet K and Planet C trainees will start off separate, and then eventually they will meet up in the show to compete together.

i could've sworn i saw news of wabi sabi dying already, was that just about the artist management side then ??
That's just the artist management side. They announce last year that they would no longer manage artists, and instead they are focusing on production. As their artists contracts expire with the company, they are helping them move to different companies. Wabi Sabi is actually partnered with GMM TV for production for a least one drama, if not more. That may be one of the reasons so many of their artist ended up moving to GMM TV last year.

The show is back on track and is being produced by Wabi Sabi now. Fluke and SaengNuea remain the main couple.…
I'm so excited that Wabi Sabi is picking it up, and that Fluke and SaengNuea are still the main couple. I thought they were perfect for the roles in the pilot, so I was worried about them being re-casted. Thank you for the update!

Same, i'm very disappointed in the 'false advertising' their original posters were in the mansuang style which…
If I remember correctly, it's because they were facing backlash from fans in Thailand about having a gay romance set so far in the past with the Man Suang sequel storyline. I can't remember if it's because the fans thought it was unrealistic or disrespectful. I just remember that they faced backlash for the original storyline of Shine, which is why it got postponed to be completely rewritten. Also, Shine is actually produced in collaboration with the Thai government, as they kind of used both the drama and MileApo as part of their efforts for making marriage equality legal in Thailand, and I think promoting the country in general. There was a ceremony about it last year, so maybe part of changing the story was to go along with the government.

I couldn't find an article for some reason, but here is a reddit post with some explanations.

This is giving me Fellow Travelers vibes... btw I'm a little stupid so enlighten me on this : MileApo are couple…
They're supposed to be a couple in this one, but the trailer kind of has me second guessing that. I'm curious if the trailer is trying to throw us off, or if the drama won't be that romance forward after all.

Let's look at it together. *why did he not go back to the spot where he left Khanin?*why did he ask his man/assistant…
Ramil won't be king. If he wins the competition, then his dad will became king. Ramil can only become king if his own child wins. If anything, I think Ramil would have less of a chance of being with Paythai if he wins the competition because his father is not the forgiving type. I don't know if Ramil did it intentionally, though. Although, if he did, I think he was more playing a prank on Khanin than trying to actually hurt him. Ramil doesn't come off as mean spirited to me. Maybe a bit snobby and entitled, but looking at who raised him, that is not surprising.

Why do they keep recycling the same pairings in Thai BLs over and over and over again? Is there some sort of ban…
Not a ban, but it's not generally how the Thai BL industry works. They have built the industry on the backs of permanent pairings because it generates a lot more buzz (hype), views, engagement and sales for them. Much like Kpop fans tend to completely support their fandoms in every way possible, the fans of Thai BL pairings do the same. By using permanent pairs for BL dramas, it's like having built in promotions for the show as well. Pairs also get comfortable working together, which helps with chemistry and likely not feeling awkward with filming the more intimate scenes. The Thai BL industry has found what works for them, and so they have stuck with it.

I heard it was a foreign place shoot?? which place??
We don't know yet. As far as anyone knows, they haven't even started filming yet. There are rumors that the producer(s) went to both the Czech Republic and Germany to scout locations, but no one could actually confirm that. Until we hear anything about them starting to film, we may not know if it will actually be filmed in a foreign country and whichever country or countries that may be.

Title Leap Day
What is this exactly?!!
GMM TV doesn't always finish filming their dramas before releasing them since it takes months for the dramas to finish airing. While a lot of them are finished filming by the time they are released, not all of them are. I think in the case of Leap Day, they had so many delays in filming due to Pond and Gun having a lot of other work, that they likely thought it was better to start releasing the drama once they got over halfway finished with filming it rather than waiting until filming was completely done. If I remember correctly the official trailer and release date were dropped after Q25 or so, which means they had ten or less days of filming left at that point.

Title Leap Day
What is this exactly?!!
A Q refers to a day of filming in Thailand. I think it can sometimes be used for filming locations as well, but mostly it is used to mark the number of filming days. It's a way for cast and crew, as well as fans now, to track where filming is at for dramas. Q34 means that May 8th was day 34 of filming.

It's because he plays the female lead's ex-husband.
Depending on how they write the script, he should get good screentime. He's still technically one of the main characters, just not one of the leads. I know in the manhwa, his character is in the story quite a bit. I don't know what they will change for the drama, though. It's a long manhwa that hasn't even finished yet, so they can't fit everything in.

can someone tell me how much episodes have so far
Only one episode has been released as the drama started airing only yesterday. If you are asking how many there will be in total, then it looks like there will be 14 episodes according iQiyi.
