This movie is really funny but the funniest parts were the sibling interactions between Jo Jung Seok and Han Sunhwa. Oh yeah and their mother too!! They should make a separate movie or family drama series with this trio as the mains. Hilarious
The male lead is 40 years old and he kinda looks his age.. His face is dull to look at and I don't feel much chemistry…
He's playing a 36 year old so I don't see an issue with age. Lots of mid to late 20s actors & actresses play high school students which is even more ridiculous
I really don't understand what she had to apologize for.. k-netizens make everything a controversy
Sure Knetz seem to make everything into a controversy but international fans are not much different tbh. I've been into kdramas and kpop well over 12 years and I can assure u international fans are pretty much the same, making a big deal on petty things and can be just as annoying and as toxic. All I'm saying is just don't single out one group
Love SEASON 1 (hence that's why I watched season 2) but imo SEASON 2 is better! Not much better but definitely better. While S1 had pretty much everything, S2 had more depth.
No drama or TV series are perfect so I can also point out what I don't like even though this is probably one of the most entertaining kdramas I've watched in my 14 years into kdramas. What I didn't like that I wish there's less romance in S2. This drama core is friendship. The romance between Jigu & Nice Paper felt forced. I thought I was alone in this but from what I saw, a lot of knetz felt the same. I don't see much chemistry. I feel like Jigu's fine but YSY character is just uncomfortably weird. I feel like the people who actually like the couple are hardcore Eunji fans & Yoon Shiyoon fans. About the other "variety show" couple, it's natural that it continues into S2 but still the focus on them was a little too much for my taste. Me personally, I rather see the girls navigate life at their workplace (for example) rather than cliche romance. But that's just me.
Having said all that, this is a great drama (both seasons) and the three main actresses KILLED IT!!! Their portrayal of their characters is OUTSTANDING. No one can deny that!! S1: 9/10 S2: 9,5/10
In episode 3 their alcohol abuse seems to at least catch up on them. Good.
One is not expected to relate to every culture in the world but when one chooses to watch a korean series or movie, one should try to learn and accept that there are things that is the norm over there and they are fine with it instead of looking down on what they do or view it negatively. It's just how it is over there. Drinking after work is very common in SK and as a nation seem to be doing well despite the heavy drinking culture they have. If u have an issue with how the drama is "glorifying" their very own drinking culture, I suppose that's your right, but u shouldn't have an issue with the koreans or others who relate to it and find the drama awesome. The writer herself (Wi Soyoung) said the 3 main characters are heavily based on herself and her two besties (there's a subbed video on youtube of her talking about it). She actually said she and her friends are "worse" than the drama characters. She even showed photos of them together. Herself an established writer, her other friend is/was a flight attendant and the other one she didn't say. She claimed they are "worse" but u know what.... they seem to be functioning well in society. That is a reality and a norm in South Korea. U see it as glorifying, they see it as "oh that's what me and my friends are doing now" or "ah I did that when I was younger before I got married blah blah". The older generation says it makes them fondly reminisce the past. And I say, good for them!
All women (and men) are horny. The difference is whether they decide to show it or hide it lol. Jigu totally hides it, Jiyeon completely shows it and Sohee is like in the middle as always bcs she's the most "normal" one haha

It represents reality in South Korea and that's why it's incredibly popular especially with 20-40 age range korean women who relates to it. Numerous celebrities, idols & actresses also talk positively about it and express their wish to make a cameo appearance on the show because they enjoyed it and find it extremely relatable. Not all stuff has to be morally right, Perhaps this don't apply to u (which is totally fine) but a lot of people want to see series that is raw & real. Just saying all this in case u don't get the hype surrounding this drama and why both seasons viewership is breaking all sorts of TVing records
Ep 1 and 2 was really good. Instead of ignoring Jiyeon's illness or make light of it, they fully addressed it. Cancer shouldn't be taken lightly and the writers didn't . I see many knetz cancer patients/family of patients posting online symphatizing with Jiyeon and find her situation & behaviour very relatable, not to mention being very touched by her two incredibly loyal friends in Jigu & Sohee who pretty much dropped & sacrificed everything to help her. A perfect way to start the 2nd season imo. U can't just dive into the romance, chaos & madness when there's a huge elephant in the room that needs to be taken care of
Can u get behind films/series that "glorifies" bank robbers, con artists/scammers, the narcotic industry, gangs/gangsters,…
Wow can't let go of me can u? I'm just a stranger on the internet. Stop obsessing and get over it. Already told u to ignore me...... I know it''s hard for someone like u but please try!! And I suggest u start your day with a smile. It can really help and u'll forget about me in no time. Trust me! All the best!!!

Wow.. couldn't even pick between the two EASY options. I'm that difficult to ignore right? I guess I'm flattered lol. But sorry, won't even read your comment. Have a good week!!! Cheers!!

So can u get behind those kind of contents I mentioned or not? Yes or No? Simple as that. And why are u lecturing me about Korea when my question was incredibly simple lol. Funny how u seem to care more about this apparent korean "issue" than most of korean viewers. Strange indeed. Btw if u won't reply with a simple Yes or No answer, please ignore my reply. Replying with a yes or no is very easy, ignoring is even easier. U choose!! (and have a nice day)
