First two episodes had sound issues, (unless that corny sound/not sound scenes were on purpose to make it seem like FL is a typical makjang-type mother😅); but other than that, this kdrama is the most interesting for me this days😍
Rip Kang Soo Yeon, when you think the sad ending is fiction and then it turns out it's reality. It really feels like this was such a nice tribute to this amazing actress, I'm grateful she could participate in one last movie, doing what she liked the most.
And the message, if you are poor and sick and want to keep living, rich people can allow you to keep living, but as a meme. They like making people into jokes.
another curious thing, this movie will tell you what type of person the commenter is, one that only cares about entertaining/scifi/ratings/cool stuff and the type that see actors and staff as people. Sad.
It really made me feel bad for women back in those times, all the concubines were ignored or treated like fruit flies by the ML. No wonder they acted crazy. what was the point of coming from a rich and noble family and being doted by the parents just to be humilliated, abused or neglected after getting married. I even felt pity for the concubine the whole time instead. They wanted her to put up with that daily humiliation and neglect and be good ? It was normal to go crazy. If he was going to act like that , why marry them. He even resented his first wife when she was only protecting her child since she knew the dense husband wouldn't. Being an incompetent husband is also a sin.He was the real villain of the story. I actually was enjoying more the drama when FL didn't have feelings for him.🤣
Edit: On second thought, he was still considered a good husband by the standard of the time. I mean, even nowadays standards are still soooo low, that's why we are looking for a fine man in fictional characters. I give up.
Edit2:I don't think the crazy concubine did the right thing, but she really was ignored more than a dog or a horse in that house. She really led such a patetic and meaningless life.
Edit3: Ep 28,just when I was about to drop it, OMG, bitter melodrama starts
Skipping some scenes, it was a very good drama, all the chapters were interesting, and I felt attached to all the female characters, I felt pity for all the sad and bitter women. Polygamy sucked big time, seems like every home was a battlefield, no wonder that system finally got abolished.
ep 18: I got emotionally attached to ML and hated a bit FL for being so cold to him, even if my brain understands that she has to be rude to him because she isn't going to reciprocate his feelings. At least that is her plan, but I know that writer nim will force them together. Still it's starting to be painful to watch. I binge watched the whole season, this is a masterpiece😭😭😭
Good movie since it made me feel fear and also made me laugh a lot, diffent from the typical, lots of comedy but instead of Gangnam Zombie, it was more like Stalker Zombie or Mixed martial arts Zombie, more than fear of zombies, it was a different type of fear, so many stalking zombies with nimble feet, I also cringed a lot.
I had skipped this because part 1 was less than I expected and part 2 was all over the place, but then part 3 was good. I loved the moral teachings on this part 10/10. I am loking forward to the next part, and will miss the original cast. I can't believe it's been 4 years TT
Ep 8 : I like it that it's realistic, couples breaking up because of their insecurities, and then making the mistake of settling for the random nice person next to them. It should be a law to wait 6 months after a breakup to be able to date again to avoid leading people on when they still have feelings for another person. If they are happy with their dates , good, I want the second leads to win for once and have ordinary happiness and grow together as persons and little by little grow their love, that would be a fresh scenario. But if the leads have an affair I will riot😢
I liked the first 4 episodes, later plot started being slow and predictable and eps 9-11 had such terrible editing. If the plot was written more carefully this show would been a keeper, had great cast and acting. The best scene last two weeks was Mapi's fight scene.
I wish I could rate this drama 11! This is as good as Mr Sunshine or Crash landing to you😍 And the music... I am obsessed with Scars leave beautiful trace OST😭😭😭
This is an avengers version of the guest with the priest cameos, lol as horror comedy in the style of the Scream movies, with a hint of romance, is watchable
No, their lives have no effect on each other.Basically, Ep 2 to 15 has no relevance to Ep 1 and 16. We don't even…
The relevance of episode 2-15 was how it changed him, his thoughts, his new values. He had to live as a rich person AND as a poor person to think outside the box. He was very brave to stand up as witness when he knew he was against powerful people. He was calm, didn't get scared of the boss, rich killers, and the prosecutors only because of his life as Do Jun. Because it wasn't the first time he faced them, he knew how to stand up to them. This is also the proof that the reborn experience was real. The poor him, even if he had the evidence, he was a yes-men that only cared to follow orders and live off the blood money of the rich, and didn't want to feel responsible for his actions, as he was just following orders. That was also wrong. And not only his personality and thoughts changed, he also changed the past. In the original timeline he didn't die in the same way, they didn't know each other. The changes he made when he was reborn gave him a chance to finish his plan of taking away the company from that family, but more than 'revenge' it was because they didn't care about the people. He wanted a better management where more people could have a better life, people like the poor him.
I loved it. The ending? Perfect. The ending I wanted? No. And I'm happy, because the writer caught me too. I wanted him to be rich, young and happily married to his love while also being a hero. But that was wrong. The ending showed how both of his lifes affected the other, the consequences. He couldn't get it all. A just society is one about mutual benefits and responsabilites. Not the current system of stealing from others to live well because there's isnt enough for everyone to be rich and idle. The fantasy we all believe, that if we get rich we can have everything we want . Money shouldn't work like that, or life shouldn't work like that. And we shouldn't dream of 'getting everything we want'.
Edit:And in dreaming of getting everything we want, I mean, if I was born rich, I would want to remain rich too, having everything that I want as everyone in that family, even Do Jun's father got greddy too,I admit it. Thats how the system works, our culture. That's why the writer took it to the extreme of 'you would have to live 2 lifes to go against human nature of being entitled'.
Everybody is hiding their true face, this is looking interesting. If they are going for a wholesome drama, where this girl and the baby save the family and they all are good people for real, it wouldn't be bad, but this drama is giving dark vibes so nope.
And the message, if you are poor and sick and want to keep living, rich people can allow you to keep living, but as a meme. They like making people into jokes.

Ep 53: Me: Nooooo the poor horse! Why ?
Drama: Scene was made with CG and prop horses😸horse it's fine.
I am laughing and crying
I binge watched the whole season, this is a masterpiece😭😭😭

The wife was raped and got pregnant with the daughter before getting married.
