"les liaisons dangereuses" as a half-french person the story has been haunting my teenage years as I discovered it in school, was OBCESSED with it, read the book 20 times and then rewatched 1000 times the different adaptations of the book (my favorite one so far being the Glenn close/ Malkovich one). I'm also very curious to see what korean studios can do with the story, as it's almost theatrical, but very narative-based rather than dialogue-based. I'm sure they can make something very contemporary and dramatic. My only fear is that they kind of "cleanse" everything that is twisted and perverted -and also make the story so good- as it's not very allowed from a korean moral's point of view. Also from the teasers, the letters they used to exchange seems gone. they could have had transformed it into mails or kakao talk but doesnt seem like they did anything with it. Also why is Woo Do Hwan so freaking hot I cant.
sota as ichigo... if they dont have a good cast for other character in bleach, i might hve to drop this. director,…
haaha as much as I love Sota I agree. He's not an ichgo. his face is too round and cute and so is his attitude. Ichigo has to be more traditionaly japanese looking, with a bad boy yankee type of attitude.
I'm disappointed in the actress they chose for Rukia, she looks nothing like her... meh there are so many other…
I agree. usually I'm kinda disapointed on the cast of japanese actresses when they're not the main character. When their role is secondary they usualy end up being a plain, cute but mainly cute for guys idols of some sort. But well, its adapted to a younger japanese market.
For me, the best adaptation so far is Assassination Classroom
Oh really ? But to be fair I could never really get into the manga/ anime so this one precisely I did't watch. After this one tho I'm a little concern for Bleach coming up. hope they do a better storyline job.
CGI was amazing, acting was ok. that's all. the rest was awful. I'm not gonna settle for less when it comes to manga I've grown up with. Also, with all of the passion arround J-manga and J-animation why are people not taking more time to write actually good movie adaptation. seriously the only one good so far was Gintama.
I have a deep love for 5ji kara 9ji made, it was fresh, funny, and half of the time they're in best district : omotesando. Also because the cast is the best. if you liked it just give Jimi ni sugoi and Tokyo no musume a try ;) it has this cool new-gen Jp dorama vibe. I really disliked good morning call tho and I feel like if you've seen itazura na kissu you're just seeing it again but in very bad. also the age target is under 20yo. Buzzer beat is such a classic lets give it a plus.
First, I agree with this list mostly because the pictures and gifs are on point, but also becasue I'm obscessed with Fukushi Sota/ Yamazaki Kento and because Horii Arata is my ex-bf's lost twin but GURL Furukawa Yuki feel hella left out :'(
Also shout out to all my sis in their early to mid 20's because our teenage crushes still include Tamashita Tomohisa, Kamenashi Kazuya or Matsumoto Jun
is that really ok ? the main girl keeps on complaining with a baby voice and the main lead wears k-pop stars kind of clothes to the signature of a contract : i'm kind of suspicious
I admit my mistake that I forgot to nominate my favourite actor, Yuki Furukawa who did his best in Boku Dake Ga…
I know Furukawa wasnt SUCH a good actor for a long time but he actually quite surprised me in Boku dake, he still has work to do but i'm sure he'll be very deep one day
