no kidding. i get so frustrated when people compare! each drama is unique in it's own way!!
Actually there's a lot of dramas that can compare. that's why we have a recommendation system. but at least get the theme, the development or the genre similar lol goblin's non of that !
i watched the 1st episode, i didn't like the editing and the story didn't captivated me at all..should i keep…
depends if you're looking for something fun or not. Not kidding but this is probably in my fav top 5 kdrama of all times and god knows I've watched many romcom.
This is exactly the kind of Kdrama I'm here for : give me an overdramatic theatrical borderline ridiculous narcissistic yet super hot male lead plus a female lead looking down on him and I'll get popcorns for everyone.
I think this drama had a lot of potential but kinda went far away from its expectations. Don't get me wrong, i love the cast, and I love the theme. but god knows why from a very nice panel of characters and vilains they failed doing anything interesting. Every important stories gets kind of hyped for a couple of episodes before happening and when we finally reach them the development is so underwelming. Honestly the main character and the main vilain were so cool and weird it could've been a really interesting drama. It's still a good distraction tho especially the first episodes, but nothing more.
I thought that Kubota Masataka dit such an amazing job here. He's always really good with extreme emotional acting, this was no exception. The only thing I have to say is that they obviously cut a lot of content and it only focuses on the 1st season of Tokyo ghoul so I believe we're probably will get a number 2 pretty soon.
I think we all get your point, but consider that you are mostly commenting for a group of people that are already…
I don't think quite you understood what I said, and should maybe read it again. first, you interpreted what I said as insulting insinuation when it was just a global remark on what kind of people you could be dealing with/ debating with on this website. I think everybody else read it this way. If you interpreted it another way, felt offended or whatever, I'm almost sorry, but anyway I didn't pointed at anyone did you feel pointed at ?
What I am accusing him of is trying to set a standard on comments by quality; by saying to someone basically you're too dumb to understand the subtleties of this drama when really it's just a drama not the Cannes' palm movie selection. We welcome all types of opinions here from the biased basic fangirl which mention you felt offended by, to the over analytical one, passing by lazy ass comments. Nobody is going to comment on a comment saying "your comment is meaningless, you should be more serious about your comment". Debate the substance of a message, not always its form, and even less it's writer.
You're not here to write a thesis, nobody asks you to be objective. Once again if you want, you can, but if you don't just write what you feel like. Let's repeat it, but it's opinions, and entertainment here.
I want to point out that writing a critical and writing a comment is a totally different process.
I also think you don't understand the difference between criticizing an *opinion or a *person and the starting point of freedom is having a community where nobody should be afraid of posting opinions on a drama and be shamed, and that is why this guy has been called out, I'm kind of preoccupied you find it reactionary but I hope now it is clear now because I am not oging to spend more time on this matter.
