Some time ago I wrote a comment (https://kisskh.at/27441-lawless-attorney#comment-2062176), someone might…
I think we all get your point, but consider that you are mostly commenting for a group of people that are already -very-familiar with Korean/Asian dramas, or borderline TOO familiar, to the point that we can be very critical/ over analytical with a show as opposed to an audience of newbies coming from US shows or whatever you refered.
As a result, a lot of people here comment overly dramaticaly because of the presence of an actor they love, or an idol casted and get very agressive when someone tries to articulate an objective, sometimes critical opinion on a comment.
Some people -like myself- are indeed here to read a range of different opinions, ideas, and debate about the qualities of a drama, rather than a dictatorial fanbase collection of comments about how much they love their oppas and Korean bbqs.
Also, sadly you can't ask from people things like that "- please try not to talk about what is not important or about small things, and the reason is simple - it will affect the viewing of the show by other people" Because, it is once again a place where you're free of your words and depicting your feelings, this is not a fanbase, please rederect yourself towards different websites if you want a very schemed and unilateral opinion. You need to understand that this is not a matter of how close some people look at a drama, and how close you will make them look, as much as it is a matter of feeling or not feeling the drama that is why it is called entertainment.
that being said thank you very much for not blaming us my lady.
honestly for an adaptation it's pretty good it follows nicely the anime plotline, characters are also very similar to the original ones. Usually live actions are so disapointing ! The last good one that followed a plotline for this amount of episode was the excellent Death Note 2015 version. Although I was still expecting more fun for the iconic Reigen character. Tatsuomi Hamada is doing a good Mobu imo. still less fun than the anime but yeah, i agress this should be how you turn a manga (or anime) into a live action show.
Edit : the last episode was very all over the place it lowered my appreciation of the full adaptation
It is impossible not to compare it with the original... especially when the original drama (and Oguri Shun) left…
I couldn't agree more. I'm tired of choices based on the popularity of an idol instead of chosing actual actors. Korea is one of the best country in the world in terms of drama actors why the hell would they put a singer/ dancer in a male lead situation it's been done and regreted in the past already. same goes for japan tho, but japan's actors are idols also most of the time so...
Trust me I know, because I am the parent of the generation you are speaking of, most of these did not thrill me.…
I totaly support this idea of writing articles to invite people to the J-dorama world. I read most of the articles you write, btw. I'm just slightly mad at netflix for doing such a selection. When you look the Korean selection, there are so many interesting stuffs, thrillers, adult stuffs, latest cool dramas, an on the Japanese side, we've got Itazura na kiss, and its clone good morning call. I don't understand why they don't put better stuffs.
A lot of those dramas are targeting a younger audience, that maybe tend to watch more animes than J-dorama and clearly doesn't reflect the quality of japanese animation (insert sad emoji). Still if you're in your mid 20's or older, or simpler a more expert viewer, I'd recommend to skip this netflix selection, except for Boku dake ga inai achi, and Ito-kun A to E, and go directly on kissasian and co. but I still have hope for Netflix international since in Japan we have some good stuff.

LOL. This drama is not to watch for being deep. I adore the show, because I’m in a comedy mood right now. But…
yes I don't think you need to be einstein to get that it's mainly a comedy, and I'm glad that it is MAINLY a comedy, that is why I started to watch it, however my question wasn't asking if it gets SUPER DEEP. I am more asking if it has a basic interesting story line, more subtle moments to give rythm to the episodes, and not only random gags. Basically i like watching funny dramas that also have moments of emotion, or sweet moments, dunnow if you get what I mean ?
There's no way that Koreans would air anything perverted on their TVs, unfortunately. They are censored too much.…
I know that's exactly what I was affraid of. I feel like it's getting a bit looser each year, but tv shows are still very "clean". I don't wanna say that I cant wait for korean tv to get over it because I don't wanna force a different cultural pov on them, but I feel like they have such great actors and directors when you see movies like The handmaiden its too bad creatives get restricted like that.
