Such a great article, with an astounishing amount of research and dedication to make it clear and easily readable. an absolute pleasure! Please write more of those in the future. Also, a worrying comment from my side, but I haven't like any of the most popular drama since 2015. Am I getting too old or are they getting worst?
Hong sisters are back at it again ! hope it's gonna be more of a master's sun than a Korean odyssey style. happy to see IU back as well. she's too talented for cancellation.
GOT probably got it's basis from Chinese and Korean historical/mythology.
nope, it's inspired by typical European pagan mythology (lots of Nordic), as well as a very close look to medieval to middle age European conflicts and wars, important/ twisted personas and their whereabouts. The island of Westeros ressembles the mad of Britain reversed, and the main families evolve in climats, own lands and exchange goods between eachother in a similar fashion that all Europe use to do too. basically its history, Tolkien and mythology combined.
Shota and miura haruma will always be my top two fav Japanese actors they are so underrated! Tired of seeing the…
I totally agree but that's not how it works. In Japan, there is a turnover of actors/ actresses that hit a certain demographics, especially for dramas, manga adaptations, and romantic comedies, and it goes from 16 to your late 20's. after that, you're usually playing more serious roles in movies or detective/ crime dramas. Haruma and Shota are from the previous actor's generation. Kento, Suda, and Mackenyu are fresh meat and are popular with teenage girls in Japan, who spend a lot of money on their fav actors from Jonny's etc. I miss seeing Shota tho. He was my first celebrity crush.
