I agree. I feel like people are buying all the "cute" elements they've made sure to include. None of it is convincing…
I've said something similar before and got answered with "Who are you to say if characters in a drama have chemistry or not, you MUST not like one of the actors if you say that they have no chemistry with the other actor!!!" something along the lines lmfao
I loved Jun Yeo Bin in "Be Melodramatic" but wtf is happening in here. Her delivery of the character is very off…
Okay, I might've been in the heat of the moment after watching episode 2. Perhaps Jun Yeo Bin's not at fault, but rather the director for wanting such character delivery from her. He was the one who approved of her delivery of Hong Cha Young.
I loved Jun Yeo Bin in "Be Melodramatic" but wtf is happening in here. Her delivery of the character is very off and uncomfortable to watch for me. I know that the writing of the character is part of the problem, but poorly written characters can somehow be saved by the actor. I've totally no idea why the director thought that such delivery of the character by Jun Yeo Bin was acceptable. I think it would've been better if she just calmed down a little bit. Seriously, I haven't seen such an overdone character in a long time.
#29 was so good! I didn't really expect anything, but I just loved how they touched on some subjects from a woman's perspective. The second thoughts Ha Ram had about marriage seemed so real; they were something one would surely find in real life. I loved how in the end the story told that communication is key to a healthy relationship.
With that being said, I think the best scenes were #29 and #42 which I want to recommend to everyone; they're perfect for a lonely evening (although you should watch #42 first then #29 to lift up your mood). #23 was an okay watch, it didn't really amaze me. As for #35, it was boring and pointless, you can skip this one.
Okay, just finished watching scene #35, and it was kind of... pointless? Like, we're supposed to see what love means to the main female characters at the particular point of their life, but I feel like we didn't get it in Ban Ya's story. The plot was all over the place, as if they just wanted to show us some sex scenes that weren't even important to the plot. Imo #35 was the weakest story.
Jun Yeo Bin is gorgeous, and the cast is great. Song Joong Ki hasn't lost his spark, he's still such eye candy. I thought it would be a more serious drama, but I'm not mad it's more on the comedy side. It also gives me "Lawless Lawyer" vibes. But, is Kwak Dong Yeon a villain again? I'm disappointed, why does he keep getting villain roles only :c Oh, and unfortunately I'm pretty sure it will get draggy and repetitive in the middle; 20 episodes are just too much for a revenge drama.
Ep 1 was amazing, great start without being unnecessarily draggy with many fillers. Just straight to the point. And I'm not even gonna lie, I wanted to try this drama only for Yeo Jin Goo because I've loved him ever since I saw him in "Missing You", but the whole cast is doing great. Can't wait for the English subs for episode 2.
