Hello! I have a question: do you have to pay to create an account on viu? I wanna watch the remaining episodes so bad, but I don't really want to pay to create an account on viu just because I'm intersted in one drama only... Or can you watch on viu without having an account?
I thought that no episode aired on Feb. 15 because of the Korean New Year but according to MBC's schedule, no…
Whaaaaaat :c So the only way to watch #29 and #35 is on VIU, not to mention having to create an account f you don't have one, AND having to have a vpn in order to change your region as the show in unavailable in many countries.
Damn, what a boomer. I was waiting for #29 and #35 the most.
The 1st ep had nice dynamics, it gave us a good character introduction and wasn't slow. Also, it's very refreshing to see a main FL with freckles! Also, don't Korean drivers know how to hit the brakes? Istg in every kdrama they only honk instead of stopping the car to avoid hitting someone lmfao
Okay, I have to admit that I'm intrigued by your opinion, and your comment kept bothering me, but in a good way…
I feel that for Ji Soo this drama might end up being a crucial point in his career: he'll either become recognised as a promising ML material for great projects, or he'll be stuck with kinda mediocre dramas.
The reason why you are not seeing the chemistry is because it's so subtle. The way they look into each others…
"'Chemistry' is just a word people use just because they do not like either a couple or one of the people in the couple." Well, that's just your opinion, not a fact, nor a definition of this word. I use the word "chemistry"--or in this case the phrase "no chemistry" to describe that the relationship between the two characters seems artificial to me. It's just that no matter what, they HAVE to be together because they're the main leads and the drama's about them. No bond development, no relationship development, no character development. The relationship between the leads exists only for the story's sake so that it can continue. To me, the relationship between Yoon Song Ah and Chae Hyun Seung seems dry and emotionless; it's like they're together only because Chae Hyun Seung's had a one-sided crush on Yoon Song Ah for some time and kept pestering her, and Yoon Song Ah's heartbroken and needs consolation (which has been going on from the very 1st ep).
[MY OPINION] Some examples of main leads with great chemistry in romance dramas: It's Okay to Not Be Okay, Mr Queen, Crash Landing on You. And where the chemistry was off: Backstreet Rookie, The King: Eternal Monarch. Heck, there was even chemistry between Woo Do Hwan's character and Ryu Hwa Young's character in Mad Dog even though there was NO romance.
And let's not talk about real-life couples, because that's REAL life, not a k-drama.

Let's say I've 'known" him for 5 years now: I've seen his oldest dramas such as Sassy Go Go (2015), Angry Mom (2015), and Page Turner (2016). Now that I think about it, his acting has remained the same throughout all of his projects. Yes, he usually plays the same type of character (sadly), so there's no opportunity for his acting development. But even if the characters he plays are similar, I think he should at least try to make them more special and unique. Instead, I feel like he's on the same level that he started off at; he hasn't really developed as an actor. It's a shame because I still think he has so much potential to be better than LMH at least...

Maybe you're right... Perhaps I expected more because first of all, it's a JTBC drama, and second of all it's a noona romance (even though they're only a year apart).
Unpopular opinion: I'm not convinced he can carry a whole drama as the main lead.....I would like to be proved…
Okay, I have to admit that I'm intrigued by your opinion, and your comment kept bothering me, but in a good way (if that makes sense lol). I'd always thought Ji Soo was the whole package, but your comment sowed the seed of doubt in my mind. I don't know if it's the script's fault, but after two episodes I'm not sure if Ji Soo can pull this character off. It's like he kind of lacks the charisma the main lead should have.
I'm curious now, what makes you unsure about Ji Soo being the main lead? Maybe I'll be able to find my answer regarding Ji Soo in your thoughts.
I can already feel the hate pouring down on me, but I don't really see any chemistry between the characters. Won Jin Ah and Ro Woon are great, but I just don't feel any bond between their characters. The portrayal of their relationship seems artificial to me; there are no sparks.
Hands down, the best historical drama I've ever watched, and I don't really like historical dramas to begin with. Also one of the best dramas of 2020/2021. Shin Hye Sun did a marvellous job, as well as Kim Jung Hyun. But for me Shin Hye Sun stole the show, probably because her character was for sure so much fun to play with, and Shin Hye Sun fcking nailed it. She shined in this drama and I hope she'll get many interesting and good projects from now on.
In this drama Kim So Hyun will playing as the main female lead, Princess Pyeong Gang, mother of main female lead…
Seriously? She'll be playing as the main female lead AND the main female lead's own mother? That's kinda too much lmfao why would they make it so complicated
Jung Chung Kyung's {42} story was amazing. Even though I'm more or less half her age, I was able to sympathise with her story more than I did with Doo Ah's. The acting was phenomenal, and the story was well executed.
Now I'm conflicted because I've no idea how to rate this drama. The stories aren't related to each other in any way; the plot in each "scene" is different, and they're only connected through the title and that each story's main character is a woman. And one story might be better than the other. I feel like it would've been better if it was promoted as a drama special, just like "Drama Special Season 7: The Legendary Lackey" and "Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas". I feel like if "Love Scene Number" was divided into particular stories (i.e. Love Scene Number 23, Love Scene Number 29, and so on), and each story had its own page, it would be easier to rate the drama and it would be much more fair to each story. For example, I thought Love Scene Number 23 was average and I would rate it 6/10, but Love Scene Number 42 was amazing and I would rate it 9/10. But now that every story is combined into one page I really have no clue what rating to give so that I'm fair to each story.
I've just finished watching Nam Doo Ah's {23} story. I think they should've emphasized more that she was at fault. The drama criticised cheating too little. Instead, I feel like they put the blame on the guys for not being able to a full package that Doo Ah wanted.
Also, I've seen a few dramas with Kim Bo Ra, and I don't know what it is, but I don't buy her acting at all. She seems emotionless, and no matter the situation, the tone of her voice remains the same. It was hard to get through Doo Ah's story because of Kim Bo Ra's acting.
I have watched kdramas for 15+ years and I think you are praising it too much. Its seriously isn't anything special.…
Well, I've been watching kdramas for almost 15 years too and I've seen lots of them. To me it's one of the most realistic kdramas out there with excellent dialogues. To me it's something better that your average kdrama ;) Also, I could say the same about you rating Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol 10/10, thus praising it with your score. Considering its ending was beyond ridiculous, I think you are praising it too much. No offense.
