Okay, now I think I know everything. They're NOT LITERALLY connected, but Park Do Kyeong knows that if he sees that the singer is dead, he's gonna die too.
Then, we have the REAL accident scene (NOT the vision), where Park Do Kyeong actually EXPERIENCES HIS VISION IN REAL LIFE (the singer is dead, therefore he's gonna die too). Thus, the viewers find out that the two are somehow "conneted", especially their DEATHS AND SURVIVAL. So, the producers don't need to show on screen that Park Do Kyeong survives the surgery, Instead, they decide that it's a clever idea to show that the singer survives, regaining consciousness, So it's logical that Park Do Kyeong survives, too (since their deaths and survival are connected). The producers just want to come off as smartasses lol :D They want to make the viewers think a little.
