Okay. So, everyone has been cursing out Jin Ah's mom, and rightfully so, but can we talk about what an absolute trash Joon Hee's dad is. At least, Jin Ah's mom's action, although misguided, is because she cares for her daughter and wants her future to be secured. Joon Hee's dad, on the other hand, is just a scumbag that walked out on his kids after their mother's death. The deadbeat is not even remorseful about what he did, and he's the reason Jin Ah's mom is so against the relationship!

Massive props to this drama for tackling the issue of sexual harassment in the workplace. I understand that it is more prevalent in Asian countries and there is far less public support for victims. Hopefully, by shinning a light on the issue, public perception will start to change and more companies will start taking actions against perpetrators.

https://kisskh.at/discussions/introductions/6346-mdl-rules-please-readI don't think anybody should be writing…
I think it's okay if you're halfway through the drama and revise it once it's finished.

Is it just me or has the quality of Korean dramas fallen in the past year? 2017 was a fairly weak year with no standout universally acclaimed dramas, and 2018 has been worse. I haven't even bothered watching a lot of them because the plot just doesn't draw you in and the ones that do like this one just falls apart later one.

People writing reviews before the drama finishes smh.
They're trying to game the system. The review is lacking in detail but many have recommended because it's the only one there.

Were the Hong sisters drinking Soju while writing the story? It feels like there is no thought behind anything…
Why do you say that? Have you noticed any plot holes or inconsistencies?

I have watched till epi 24 and I am replying to specifically one of your logical/thght process. I haven't reached…
Absolutely agree with this! The realism is why NIF2 (haven't watched 1) is about to become my favorite c-drama. The characters are realistic and consistent in their actions and motivations. Not one thing has happened that I thought was out of character or made no sense, that it could not happen in real life. Take for instance, the character of prime minister Xun, unlike most palace dramas where the ministers just wants to blindly get rid of the main character irrespective of what it costs them and their nations, Xun actually understand the importance of the family and respect them so he only wants to minimize their influence. His fears that the Changlin family is too powerful are also very legitimate and understandable. They may be on the side on the emperor today but who knows what tomorrow will bring?
On the other hand is puyuang ying (probably spelt wrong) who cares about nothing but destroying Liang. Prime minister Xun observed this, even his master kicked him out because his mind his effed up. Again, people like this exists. People whose mind her so warped that they don't need a big reason to seek the annihilation of someone or group of people. Just think Hitler, why did he hate Jewish people? A lot of the explanations given are ludicrous in that they do not justify his actions. This character also reminds me of Voldemort from the Harry Potter series, no strong reason for his hatred of humans was also given.
Bottom line: you don't need a strong motivation to be a dick.

This drama claims to be going for "realism" yet they show Arsenal scoring goals all the time. Doesn't match up.
Lol. As an Arsenal fan, that hurts.

Just watched episode 71 & 72 and still nothing is happening, no war, no new emperor, no major event changes. What's…
You're a spiteful immature prick. Who the hell do you think you are to dictate who can or can't comment on a drama?

News Flash! Thousands, if not millions of people use this site and some do so without registering. I was one of these people until two weeks ago. And why did I finally take the plunge and register? Because I wanted to create a list of Japanese dramas to watch. Even if I registered for the sole purpose of expressing my disappointment in this drama, its still none of your goddamn business. All that matter is that I watched it and did not falsely comment on a drama I haven't watched.

The criticisms that you're referring to are echoed not just by new users but also old ones. But you conveniently omitted that information because it does not fit into your pathetic little theory that one person is desperately trying to negatively manipulate people's opinion of the drama. Perhaps you thought the worse of others because you are yourself a terrible person who does the things you are accusing them of doing.

Also, Grow UP! They're are billions of people in the world with views and opinions that differs from yours. Just because you lack the ability to critically evaluate and identify the flaws in a drama doesn't mean others don't.

Learn to respect people's right to have and express their own views even if they differ from your own. If you don't like their views keep scrolling , no one is forcing you to engage with them.

Lastly, it is clear from your interaction that Blossom is nice and patient. I am not. I have zero tolerance towards entitled disrespectful prick like you, so don't ever try to disparage my character again.

Whatever you do,... DO. NOT. START. THIS. DRAMA!
It is an absolute waste of time. You're likely to end up feeling dissatisfied and frustrated by the lack of progression in the story. With just 5 episodes left, It looks like audience will be left in limbo as to how the story end.
And no, the problem isn't that it is a slow-paced drama which many audiences do not like. There are many critically acclaimed and commercially successful slow-paced dramas. T & E is just a badly written, badly paced and badly edited drama. I don't think anyone can deny that the acting and cinematography are exceptional however without a good solid story to form the base there's not a lot to persuade audience to keep watching.
