I agreed, Lin Yiyang has a hot blooded trait, stubbornness for sure and is very assertive and focus in his pursuit for YinGuo. JiaXu is not as but he’s still great in his own way. I love both characters, but LYY a little more :)
for those of us who have watched hidden love and this, I think there’s a lot of similarities between Duan Jiaxu…
Love both of them. I think in Hidden Love, because the relationship started as “brother-sister” and the FL is so much younger, it does seem like the Duan JiaXu treats her as a romantic partner plus a younger sister. Here, even though Yin Guo is younger, they met when they’re both adults so Yi Yang treats her only as a romantic partner, not as a child. It’s just his personality is overprotective and possessive. Personally I think, in real life, Duan JiaXu is a better partner. He’s outgoing and easy to get along with everyone. BUT I am biased, I love Wu Lei, so I would choose Lin Yiyang in a heartbeat.
Also another difference I think is, under my impression, Yiyang is completely focus on YinGuo, and will revolve his life around hers. JiaXu loves SangZhi, but he still has his own life, not saying this is bad. It’s just different.
The kissing scenes are getting more intense. I’m swooning over it. I’m so excited for the next episode. The novel has an “intense” scene on their vacation/trip, please let the drama follow it!

I feel like he’ll only act “controlling” when it comes to taking care of her. But he will give in to everything she wants. I actually think life together would be nice. Always having someone thinking of your needs and making sure you’re okay.
Don’t want to get too into it but as a woman who’s married, have kids, and a career, it gets so tiring to shoulder everything. I think it’s nice to have someone like the ML.

But I get it that most dramas/movies are about female growth and independence, which I’m all for. But kinda nice to see this typical overprotective, taking care of everything character.
It not manipulation. After he left the snooker world, he refused to step onto a tournament floor for 11 years. It took a lot for him to overcome it to see her. It wasn’t just, let me clear my schedule, it was, let me overcome my internal struggles that I wasn’t able to in the past 11 years for you.
It’s actually very heartwarming that she’s the reason he overcame his past.

In real life, I would hate it. In the drama, with Wu Lei as the ML, I love it. I think it’s super sweet and so attentive of him to take care of her. I’m not bothered by it at all.
