I don’t think it is best drama but somehow I enjoyed it. I'm not blind fan of any leads in this drama. Honestly I never seen any chinese ancient dramas without plot holes so I don’t mind of it. This drama is just better than some over hyped drama! Nothing special here. Just FL very strong it is different.
Pros:The ML and FL are both beautiful. Their clothes are also beautiful. Good chemistry between them. Both are experts in martial arts

No break-ups.Some people likes FL.YYZ died who saved by FL, Huang Chao & Yu Wuyuan not truely likes her only our ML likes her truely & blindly. ML also loved by his maid, Feng Qiwu,Hua ChunRan but he rejected all he only likes FL.So no love traingle! Happy Ending according to novel.😉

If he is wise ruler, he would understand who behind the all crimes. He is behaving like blind about Yu Wuyuan. Because he is the one who getting advantage from Yu Wuyuan dirty works.
