Totally agree with you, we'll never predict what will jdrama take us to. And even they didn't end up together,…
I hope so too but they might not want to glorify a happy ending for a couple who started having feelings for each other when the ML was only 15 years old and the FL 24-25. In my experience with forbidden love dramas they rarely ever get a happy ending as the general public will say "You're glorifying the sitution" etc. Fingers crossed.
I watched the first episode and I put it on hold for a good 2 weeks or so because I was kind of bored plus the…
I was in the same boat as you as I didn't like the first episode that much and the FL was mostly to blame, I couldn't be bothered with another career setting type drama (pretty much where 95% of the show is based within their job). The other day I decided to pick up where I left off as I was bored and decided why not.
Every time I see Han Yeo Reum do something reckless I want to drop the drama. At the moment she's not very likeable because of how stupid she is. I put this on hold after watching one episode because of her but I decided to pick it back up again because of the love this drama is getting. I start episode 2 (3-4) and what does she do? She acts reckless. I'm going to persevere and just hope she isn't like this throughout the entire drama.
Can you tell me what was the ending? I don't mind being spoiled^^
I haven't read the webtoon myself but I found out from reading somebody's comment. Apparantly in the webtoon her husband from 699 years ago (the wood cutter) is actually the younger lead Kim Guem played by Seo Ji Hoon. Yoon Hyun Min's character who plays the Professor is the reincarnation of this celetrial being who was in love with Ok Nam and was the Dear who told the Woodcutter to steal the Fairy's robe. Basically it ends with the Fairy ending up with her husband (Kim Guem) and the Professor reflects back on his bad deeds. If you read Sooyi's comment below from 2 days ago you'll have more of an insight.
I just hope they change it so the end game is with Yoon Hyun Min's character.
I was expecting better quality with it being TvN but if I'm being honest it does have it's charm and I will continue to see how the characters and the story develops. I've spoiled the webtoon ending for myself and I'm just hoping she doesn't end up with him. or the drama completely derails from the original to avoid that. Despite the Professor being really annoying right now I try to think of his future character development because for 16 episodes he isn't going to be this annoying and if he is then that is some terrible writing.
This drama reminds me of a cartoon I watched on youtube a couple of years ago. Sadly I don't remember the name.…
The whole fairy bathing and having her robes being taken away and having to marry the woodcutter reminds me of one of my favourite animes 'Ayashi no Ceres' but in that anime it's a goddess and it's not the main focus of the show. I think that's what drew me to the show as it seemed so familiar
The flashback in episode 8 makes me think that she will be his sibling and the fact why Jin Gook wanted to find the child and is one of the reasons why he is wary about Jin Kang being around Moo Yeong. However an incestuous relationship might not go down well with the Korean audience as it's been years since it's been done so they might just change it to Jin Kang being his childhood friend who was at his house the day his father was shot and they burnt themselves on the kettle.
Yeah, he finds out first after sleeping with her. It's been years since I've seen the drama so my memory is quite vague so I can't remember how he finds out. Excellent Japanese drama. I love it!!
Dramafever is gone. Unless someone else is subbing this drama, subbed episodes have ended at Ep. 24.https://www.dramafever.com/https://variety.com/2018/digital/news/dramafever-k-drama-shutting-down-warner-bros-1202982001/
Am I the only one who can't stand Shin Ho Chul the Plastic Surgeon? Okay, It's fine to have an attraction and like somebody but the moment you find out that person is taken you BACK OFF and change your stance. He knows she's taken and yet his attitude hasn't changed and has probably got worse. Who agree's to go to a fancy restaurant with somebody who is taken and treats it like a date. The moment he stepped out of the restaurant to confront Joon Yeong I wanted to slap him... "Our dinner"... is he so dense to not realise the situation or is he just so calculative. I can tell you now he's not the typical nice guy second lead. Also it doesn't help that his face annoys me and I can't help but feel like he's had work done which is so ironic xD
I watched this every week without fail (Every Wednesday and Thursday the moment subtitles were available) and now that's he's gone... I still have the latest episode to watch. I guess it was his acting/character that drew me in. I'll still finish the drama because it is good and I like the writer despite how he wrote Soo Ho off but I'm not going to jump at the first chance once subtitles are available like I used to :/
I'm about 60% sure Kwon Joo is still alive, severely hurt but still alive and the other 40% of me believes that the writer wants to take the third season into a different territory (bad decision in my opinion) or maybe the actress told the producers etc. that she wasn't interested in a third season. We won't know until more information is released on season 3 or if they keep it all hush hush and then surprise us.
The ending kind of reminds me of the Chinese drama 'Love me if you Dare' where the main male lead is a weirdo but you know he's a good man at heart and throughout the drama you learn something isn't right and then the ending hits you.
I truly believe that if Kwon Joo is dead then Kang Woo may be able to unleash this monster because what does he have to lose? He has no one who's really close to him/trusts him. Kwon Joo was the last person who cared for and trusted him and at the moment he has/thinks he's lost that. However I'm sincerely hoping that everything is alright because she makes Voice with her awesome chemistry with both male leads, more with Kang Woo but I feel like that's because I felt the potential of something brewing where as with Jin Hyuk I knew where they stood.
I don't know how I would feel if she was gone and it was solely based on the Japanese assassination society (whatever you call it)... I feel like if thats where it's heading (solely) then there's quite a good chance I won't find it as interesting. I need my Golden Time Team!
Some of us know but I feel like not everybody knew as not everybody follows the news or this page regularly and his early death could have been a shock.
So... I've just finished watching the latest episode and why do I feel like the writer was trying to give us hope? Like a small part of me believes (wants to believe) that Min Seuk and Bok Kyu will save both Soo Ho and Ji Hyun in the water. Then he goes off to America for this 0.1% success rate medical treatment and comes back for one or two scenes around the end of episode 16. Am I asking too much? I know the screenwriter initially said he plans to kill off Soo Ho on the last episode (with his original script) but maybe he thought with Soo Hoo being away for four episodes that this miracle ending would be a little gift for his audience.
Seriously why do I do this to myself? I was literally crying at every little thing Soo Ho did in the latest episode. I'm even crying now that's how sad of a person I am. My partner called me pathetic for crying (in a non cruel way) and he's right lol. I want to believe that we can have a little happy ending even if it's just a hug at an airport, a postcard from America saying that he'll be back home soon... would I be greedy to want a first and last kiss to end this almost perfect drama? The screenwriter is cruel...he writes melodrama so well but he always gives his main characters a happy ending (Secret Love and Mask) so why not Time.
The ending for episode 12 was very conspicuous to say the least. The ending scene didn't confirm he passed away or that he'll survive. It makes you wonder is this truly his last scene? Will episode 13 start with a few weeks later jump where we don't need to see Soo Ho but we hear about what happened through Ji Hyun or Chae Ah. Tbqh that scenario could fit with him passing away or leaving for America. However the title of the drama haunts me.... 'Time' and whenever I think of the meaning I can't help but feel like I need to get my head out of the gutter and come to terms that Soo Ho is gone.
I will hold on to this tiny piece of hope because you never know... we may just get a happy ending for our bittersweet couple. However I will keep that piece of hope as tiny as I can so when his fate does get revealed it won't be such a hard blow when it happens.
You know what's funny? I was fine coming to terms with Soo Ho passing away. I knew it the moment he spoke with his doctor. However after watching the last episode the writer (damn him!) has given me hope.
So did he die at the end of episode 12? I watched a preview and noticed he wasn't in it at all :( I don't understand Korean but it looks like the next four episodes could be Min Seuks redemption ark....PLEASE NO.
BEST CHOICE EVER! I'm now up to date <3
I just hope they change it so the end game is with Yoon Hyun Min's character.
