The fight scene where Qi Zheng was ambushed was a little odd. Is it AI or CGI? Whatever, it took away from the realism. Lou Qi Yan's fight at the inn was a little more realistic because there weren't a lot of theatrics. Deng Wei did a good job portraying the character. I liked his facial expressions.

So slow! Painfully slow. I think in the next episode I will watch it at double speed. I'm really disappointed in the editor and writers. The actors are good and the direction seems good. The editing just needs to be tighter. There's a lot that could have been cut out and scenes that could have included a little more information.

The show is really slow and the characters seem to be on a loop doing the same things. It already feels old and I fell asleep part way through this episode. I rewatched it today, and it made me sleepy again. I feel like this could have been condensed to a 24 episode series.

I'm watching this for Tian Jia Rui, Riley Wang, and Joseph Zeng. Already it seems a little slow and unexciting. From the reviews I've read, it sounds like it won't get any better. I'll watch the first five episodes before I make a decision.

The translations are killing me. One of the most common errors is that the pronouns are often incorrect. It might say "I did this or that" when it should be "He did this or that". Sometimes it says "she" when it should be "he". The first scene in this episode they are interviewing the landlady about the deceased man. Everything she says seems to be about herself, but she is really talking about the man. In the last scene, Wu Yue is questioning the dead man's wife and can only ask three questions. For her final question, she says "Should I ask about about the address or should I ask what is in this blue box?" but the translations reads "Should I ask about the address or I love you!" I mean it's really senseless, so I have my translation app on standby.

Wu Yue just confided in the wrong person. It was inevitable, and I knew it would happen eventually because he's been moving in their circle.

At last the women are fed up with being sidelined and create their own investigative unit using Wei Qing's shop, Yun Chang Pavilion . I'm excited to see how it progresses from here.

There are so many times throughout this series where a funny moment just pops up out of nowhere, and I can't control my laughter. The first scene in this episode is just one example. 🤣

I wasn't sure what to expect from the mixed reviews, but I think this is going to be good. It makes me think of those classic cult shows like Rocky Horror. Hope it holds up.

Lol! In the first scene, Nakhun says he doesn't want to take advantage of Phatsa and puts on a blindfold. I don't see how that keeps him from overpowering Phatsa. It would have made more sense to tie Nakhun's hands. At least they pulled off this scene better than they did in Episode 2.Later, Phatsa's behavior seems off. First he said he doesn't feel like working after he made such a fuss about wanting to work, then during the family meal he chewed out the two brothers for arguing. He also exerted some kind of control over one of the alpha brothers. I don't know if this is supposed to show how he's taking charge, but it comes across likes he's a bad fit for this family.
