Serenity05 The first case is right up Wu Yue's alley. Her neighbor is a rickshaw driver who's arrested because he had a passenger mysteriously die while being pulled in the rickshaw late one night. When he came back with help, the dead passenger had aged 20 or 30 years. I can't tell if Wu Yue is manipulating the case to help her neighbor or if she's good at picking out clues.

So far, the plot is interesting and the main characters do a decent job. The female lead, Wu Yue, is a spirit medium who happens to be convincing because she understands human nature, is good at picking up clues from her clients, and also knows how to puts on a good show. Oh yeah, she's also a ventriloquist who can imitate many voices.

There are lots of battles, but each time it looks like they might succeed, there are setbacks. Ji Ling returns, but it still seems hopeless because Jiu Ling/Wu Yi won't stay dead.

Every episode starts with the fortune teller reading Great's fortune. Leng plays a better Daew than he does Great because Daew is so in your face while Great just smiles and acts goofy.

We see Great in present day is in a coma, so he didn't die. Maybe that means he'll return by the end of the series. As the episode develops, we see Great 300 years in the past introducing his family to foods from the 21st Century. Everyone is awed by the food and can't believe Gaew made it. Then he meets Marie Guimar, the famous dessert chef. He looks like he's in love, but I think he's dreaming of the desserts he can make. The acting's about the same and the story still has my attention. I think the series would have been interesting even if it wasn't BL.

It was really funny watching Great trying to navigate the daily necessities 300 years in the past. Like, how did people use the toilet or brush their teeth before the modern conveniences. I'm glad the story paid attention to those details. In fact, the story seems really interesting, but a few of the scenes felt contrived. Also, the acting is not top notch, but I understand the difficulty in getting seasoned actors for BL because of the stigma. I don't let it bother me too much, so long as their timing is on point. For instance, Leng was really good in the comic scenes because of his timing and the funny faces he made.

What was the Krishna Kali spell actually supposed to do? It doesn't look like anyone expected it to cause a transmigration. The lightning strike doesn't look like it killed Great, so I'm wondering if that means he switched places with Gaew or at least there's a chance he'll return.The premise of the story is really interesting, but I can already see a few things with the directing. For the most part, the acting seems good, but there are some places where they needed to do another take. You can see there's a delay in response like the actor paused too long before they took a step or was too slow giving a response. On another note, I think the costume and set design is good.

While I really liked Sun and Jay's arc, I was disappointed in how things ended for Kongkiat, Songphon, and Sunny/Bank. What happened to those budding actors and Pavineet needed to be exposed. None of them got what they deserved, which was to have the whole story about the entertainment industry blown apart and have the criminals go to jail. And all the people supporting them should have also been exposed and paid a price. They got off way too easy. Finally, instead up wrapping up everyone's life so neatly, they should have given more time to Sun and Jay's relationship. Instead, it felt like the writers/director got lazy at the end and just wanted to wrap everything up with a pretty bow.

We see more about Pavinee. Her story just breaks my heart. Sunny and Kongkiat are in way over their heads with Songphon. They are tricking new recruits to deliver them into his hands where he sexually assaults and beats them. Songphon even told Sunny to prove himself by killing one of the guys he just assaulted. Now Songphon wants him to deliver Sun and Sky. This episode was really dark. I'll probably skip it when I rewatch the series.

Pawinee's story (Jay's mother) was so sad. What Kongkiat and the Board did to her was despicable. It was so hard to watch that I'll skip through it the next time I watch this series. Sky also has a sad story but nowhere near as bad as Pawinee's. In the bathroom scene, Sunny is terrified when he realizes the new recruit is Sun. From the way he ran, it looks like he's terrified Sun's going to do more than kick his ass. Hahaha! One of my favorite side characters in this episode is Kajorn. He's funny in an understated way, down to earth, and really cares about Sky and Sun.

First, I don't know what's going through Sun's mind when he wears the grey rabbit costume to confront Jay. It's like a quirk in the script. In the flashback, I don't think Sun enjoyed being the bottom when he was the pink bunny. He cried the whole time. Even Jay looked like he knew it wasn't fun for Sun. This episode was weird but compelling because I'm trying to figure out what's really going on in Sun's head. Maybe he's punishing himself for being the cause of his mother and brother's deaths. Maybe he's obsessed with Jay, but doesn't want any part of being the bottom. I don't know. I'm hoping we find out eventually. I'm rating this a 6 because the writers are really off the mark. Also, some of the acting is really slipping, and there are inconsistencies. For instance, in this episode Jay acted like he didn't know Sun was the pink bunny, but in a previous one he acted like he did.

Jay comes to his rescue, but then he says, "There's a price you have to pay for me helping you today." There's a point in the show where he says the reason some of the scripts are so bad is because of people with money getting their hands on it and making all kinds of weird changes. That might explain why most Thai dramas I've watched have weird things pop up (like the weird uncle and the lecherous old men in the last episode).
