No drama is the cup of tea for everyone. As long as you like the drama, thatās enough because everyone has different taste and interest. For me, this is one of the best dramas and I enjoyed watching the most this year. If youāre patient enough to finish the drama, the final plot will blow your mind.

Everyone has different perspective depending on personal interest and age. I think what you mentioned about this drama is your own perspective. For me, I chose to watch this drama even though I had not known the two leads because none of previous dramas of XK is my cup of tea. Unexpectedly, this drama is among the ones I enjoy watching the most this year. The plot is exciting and engaging to me. The two leads did a great job in portraying their roles. For me, I once wished Gong Jun playing the young King in the live action of my favorite anime "Saiunkoku Monogatari" and Li Yi Tong playing the female lead. When the live action was produced, half of my wish came true because Li Yi Tong was chosen as FL but the ML was not Gong Jun. I was pretty disappointed but later I prefer Gong Jun's character in Tales of Dark River, which I think this role is more suitable with him.

This is the first drama I watch with Arthur Chen and Wang Yin Lun so I had no expectation. However, with just the first 5 episodes, the drama has been so good and engaging with exciting plot and great acting of both leads. This can be one of the best Xianxia dramas this year.

Those were evidenced by how he treated his colleagues and family. I admired him for his kindness despite the hardship he experienced during his childhood. This is a Sci-fi drama so romance is not a focus but it's balanced throughout the story. The 1st and 2nd leads are couples. They are together around middle and end of the story respectively. There's no breakup or love triangle. Their relationships are healthy with a happy ending.
