This drama is a live action from one of my most favorite animes and I like most of the cast here just like My Journey To You so I’m very excited about this drama. Hoping this will be a great one. 🙂

I like Shuuei Ran too. I have not yet watched any drama/movie of Cheng Hong Xin so not sure if he fits with this character. It seems he’s a very new actor. Let’s hope he would play Shuuei Ran well!

Totally agree with you! 🤣 His character should look more mature than the FL as he will be her teacher in the palace. Tian Jiarui looks younger than his character and Li Yitong looks more mature than her character so there will a “look gap” here 😅
Initially, I guessed he played Ryuuren Ran who usually plays the flute. In my opinion, he would be more suitable with this character but this character is single too 😂

In the anime, Riley’s character is more protective toward the FL than a romantic feeling. I think that he considers the FL more as a younger sister and protect her by all means because he just wants her to be happy. If the FL is in a relationship with a good man like the ML, he has no objection. But if the FL can’t find a good man to marry, then he’s willing to marry her. As for the FL, he is the second most important person in her life after her father. Those kinds of feelings are valuable no less than a couple’s love.
So it would be great if the drama keeps the original character in that way. But if the drama wants him to have a romantic parter then it’s good too. Just hope the changes and the script will be good.
