Can you guess what kind of role Gong Jun will take, that is different from his previous roles? I had thought that his next drama would be in different genre such as action, space or sci-fi. However, if it’s similar to Reply 1988, I can’t guess what role he will take.

Agree! I didn’t watch their movie and drama but when watching the trailer I was impressed with the look of actor who played Deputy Master of Li Ze Palace when he was the ML and paired with Ling Long. The styling made him very good looking that I was unable to recognize him 😉
I changed Gong Jun’s profile picture on his birthday. He looks cool and great with glasses in the previous pic but his shirt is in black color which is not considered a lucky/good color in my culture. Therefore, I would like to change his pic to the one that looks brighter. Initially, I submitted a more recent pic but it was rejected because it was too bright. Then I submitted this one and unexpectedly it was approved for the first time.
It nice to know that the child actor, Li Zhen Zhen, who successfully played the kid version of Gong Jun’s character in Word Of Honor also participated in this drama and played little Dong Fang Yue Chu. He is such a cute and talented child actor!
I wonder too, some melons changed the ML. Now it is supposed to be Esther Yu.
Actually I’m more curious of what drama Gong Jun will take next. As for Esther, because Gong Jun and Esther knew each other in Play Bridge so I think they would be a good pair. However, I’m fine with any actress pairing with Gong Jun. Let’s wait and see!

As far as I know, most of the cast of this drama are from the same company/agency so they usually pair with each other interchangeably. Beyond the pairings that you mentioned and the pairing of Xuan Ji x Hao Chen (waiting for airing), there were also Ling Long x Deputy Master of Li Ze Palace and Si Feng x Madam Dong Fang of Fu Yu Island :D
