Until the end of the drama. Hao Chen would be a great God if he isn’t too conservative or has more sympathy and benevolence toward the demons. I actually like Liu Xue Yi’s portrayal of Hao Chen. When the drama was airing, Hao Chen was the third favorite character after the 2 leads. Liu Xue Yi also has become more popular thanks to his role in this drama. I have been waiting for his pairing with the FL in drama ‘Love Never Fails’.

A drama is good or not mostly depends on personal interest. In my opinion, Love And Redemption and LBFAD are great Xianxia dramas! I like them both and gave them maximum rating of 10/10. You can try to watch a few episodes to check if you like the drama or not as you can drop anytime if the drama is not your cup of tea. As I remember, the plots in the later part or at least second haft of the drama are more interesting than the first part.

Based on my observation, artists who are around his age usually become less popular because there’re many young rising artists who are more favored by young generation. Some artists at his age retired or mostly participate in variety shows. I used to see a rumor that Ma Tian Yu wanted to retire this year. However he is currently filming another costume drama so I’m glad that the rumor was not true.
As far as I know, Ma Tian Yu used to be popular during the period of dramas: Sword Of Legend, Ice Fantasy and Secret Of Three Kingdoms. He was listed in the Forbes China Celebrity List in 2017 and he has over 30 million followers on Weibo in China.
