Question: is this a wuxia romance or more of a fantasy where a lot happens? I don't really like wuxia romances because they're just so long, with lots of drama, but if it's more fantasy, then maybe I'll give it a try.
i think the professors student, his name is basically earth 🤣
The trailer suggests that 3 fought some evil shaman/priest or someone like that, but I don't know if the evil was actually the earth in general. For now, MC and ML are fire and wind, Aunt Kate's son is probably water, and apparently he was in love with the past Siwat, but Siwat chose the one from fire.
Apart from a few minor flaws, I don't know about you, but in my opinion, in terms of plot and character relationships, it's one of the best bl dramas of the year.
So far, their relationship and interactions are a bit stiff, but it looks promising, and then there's that line at the end, “What will happen to me?” Answer: “Who knows? I'll think about it.” But knowing similar BL, I would say that MC and ML knew each other or met earlier, and MC doesn't remember it or doesn't recognize ML.
It's better than I thought and the description suggests. But now, if there were three of them and each controlled a different element, where is the missing earth? Besides, Khuna's friend also has a necklace, and if there were four of them and assuming that each of them has a necklace, there should be four pendants, and in general, I have the impression that our MC's necklace, Khuna's, and maybe the other two are parts of some object or maybe some kind of key, especially since, judging by the reactions of the MC and ML, their necklaces attract each other and somehow interact with each other.
Don’t know if it’s the cast or the storyline but this drama bores the hell out of me. which is disappointing…
I feel the same way. When the trailers came out, it looked like it was going to be a good and interesting drama, but so far it's boring. There's no plot, it just focuses on every character flirting with each other, and most of them are jumping around Nawa.
Overall, I still don't understand the relationships between the characters, and what's going on with everyone, especially the mermaids, rushing to Nawa. Who is he that (judging by the preview) they even decide who suits him best, as if for some reason they wanted him to bond with one of them. Besides, we have a story about mermen, but so far we haven't gotten any explanations about how their world works and what rules prevail among mermaids.
Seriously, no one would give a good review after watching 13 1-hour episodes in one go. I think that the negative…
You're right, of course, but the fact that they don't like Netflix dramas, that's no reason to spoil other people's desire to watch them with bad reviews. That's really mean.
This is a 13 hours long drama yet haters already gave this a bad reviews a few hours after release, that's so…
Seriously, no one would give a good review after watching 13 1-hour episodes in one go. I think that the negative reviews are not based on watching the whole thing, but only skimming through fragments in a few minutes.
I think the key was that the missing page stayed with the king, and since it was part of the book that first brought Yeon to the king, its connection to the book brought the king to Yeon. But seriously, it's great that they changed the ending known from the novel, and that way we got a full reunion of the two.
I love mermaid stories so i guess i will stick with this one, but a high possibility that i will wait until its…
I was most disappointed by the underwater scenes because they are poorly made and you can't really see anything in them and it was the mermaid theme in BL form that got me interested in this title, but if the quality of the mermaid scenes is going to be like it is in this episode, it's going to be hard to watch, and I know it's only the first episode, but for me it's a bit chaotic, it's missing an introduction, basically right from the start. the beginning of the episode, we have a scene where Pun just shows up at a bar and seduces Nawe. Well, so far I don't see any plot here, just a banal love story more in the style of school romances than a drama about mermaids, and the first trailers really promised something cool and fresh. The first episode is weak, but I don't want to give up on the drama after just one episode.
The first episode is okay, but the next ones are interesting. Seriously, I don't know about you, but I can't figure out who's who and who's with whom. So far, we have three characters, two of whom seem to be together, or at least that's how it looks, but I have no idea who they are. And then we have Nawa as the center of a love triangle between him, Phi, and that merman. I don't know what you think, but in my opinion, the underwater scenes are really poorly done. I know it's underwater, but you can't see anything except tails, even the characters' faces are barely visible, which makes it even harder to figure out who's who.
Let me put it this way: more happened in this one episode than in the previous five, and since Pong discovered his brother's secret and has now disappeared, he'll probably do something crazy or get himself into trouble in the next episode. I know we only have 10 episodes and they have to somehow fit the story into them, but for now, I'm most curious about the attack on the orphanage and the necklace. Punn remembered the necklace but not the face of the person who saved him, and since Ramil was stuck in the painting for 100 years and the event from Punn's memory was 10 years ago and the memories are not false, then if Punn did not summon him in a magical way or Ramil did not appear there somehow, then the timeline does not add up here.
I thought so too at the beginning of the trailer, but after watching the whole thing, I would say it's a combination of My Magic Prophency and Khemejira. First, there's the MC's abilities from the first, and then there's the curse/revenge of the spirits from the second, and it looks like it's going to be darker and there will be more going on. The downside so far is the MC's hair color, which just looks a little unusual to me, probably because most BLs have black-haired characters.
Besides, we have a story about mermen, but so far we haven't gotten any explanations about how their world works and what rules prevail among mermaids.
