Is there big focus on romance because i was actually waiting for this drama because the trailer was good like the action scenes and cgi looked great.. Plus after watching the trailer it looked like the plot was about the journey of ML and the friendship and they didn't mention it on MDL page too that it's a romance drama but after reading the comments it looks like there's gonna be romance.. And Right now i really don't wanna watch any romance drama so can somebody tell me how's the story going and all..

Exactly now the old goofy cute timid Ding yi is totally gone. According to the situation he was in it was a good thing that he changed but at the same time he is slowly turning totally into Joseph Li (crazy , scheming , cruel) and that definitely hurts. But his acting in recent episodes is commendable.
After watching episode : 30 i have so many mixed feelings i don't know what are they trynna do to the story at this point but yeah i'll wait and see how it'll turn out..

I know i just love Charlie's character but he got much less screentime in last few episodes.. I mean from the start they showed him as a strong , intelligent , meticulous caring and loyal friend.. I really loved their dynamic although it was Charlie's lie that brought Ding yi in this mess but he never left his side , he genuinely cared for him , noticed little things about him, always saved him and literally went against BIS and Japanese just for him .. That shows how much he values Dingyi like it was so clear from his side. But on the other hand i don't know why it feels like this friendship is one sided like you now what i mean like when it comes to Ding yi it's all just Xian Biyun plus they suddenly shift all the focus on dingyi and Biyun i mean i like them too but they are forgetting the point that from the start their friendship was keypoint and it was Charlie who taught him everything so now suddenly when they sidelined him it feels off and is making a great story loose it's impact.. i mean they shouldn't just focus on them a balance is necessary cause from the start everything was amazing from acting to story , cinematography , the character developments everything was great , So, i really hope the story won't go down just like that cause it's a masterpiece..
