I'm sorry but I can't support this series. I usually employ a high propensity for the suspension of disbelief in watching or reading a fantasy genre but I feel that my boundaries for it is crossed this time. The concept does go beyond the values that I hold. I won't discourage others from watching it as I believe that it depends on individual choices . I'm just expressing my views for the sake of clarity. Apologies if I had offended

It's still messy at Episode 4. I cant feel any connection to a character, the storytelling is confusing, haven't felt invested in the plot so far.... I felt that the star-studded cast line-up had been underwhelming and their respective roles unbefitting of their talent. The visual effects have been atrocious and came off as amateurish and low-quality... I don’t know if it's worth continuing watching, I've been easily distracted and can't be bothered to remember the character names.. So far I've been disappointing and not counting on the pace and story to pick up

They're repeating the same mistake with the ORV movie too. It has angered so many fans of the original source material

I felt my intelligence insulted a few times in this show. Still plowing on but I'm considering dropping it. It also feels too convoluted with two major, difficult professions overlapping and the unrealistic premises they were trying to push

Productions should not meddle with the original source materials in my opinion. It's better to make a different movie/drama inspired by the source material and credit it. If they're going to use the same characters or titles, then respect all the story elements of the source material.

I was so invested in the show at first. But then I didn't get the RoI at its ending. Reminds me of the drama Black, another great show and story ruined by its ending. I understand it was an adaptation of a popular web novels. The ORV movie currently showing should have learnt from this

It's about the movie as an adaptation of another's work. The original source materials should be respected if you want to use the original title. Making changes to the original source material angers people who love the original story. If you want to make a movie inspired by the original source material then name it something else please.

I love zero-to-hero sports themes but detest the school politics. I think it's deplorable there exists a faction of the school management and teaching personnel that would go out of their way to derail the students' future and well-being just for their narcissistic ambitions. I know it's just a show but it gets me frustrated nevertheless. Anyway it has been a great watch so far and I'm hoping for a satisfying payoff and victory for the good guys at the end : )

If you knew and respect Korean tradition you'd probably also know how much pride they take in being able to serve their nation. BTS used to have fans who wanted them to be exempted from service but the boys themselves had wanted to do it.

How about reading the manhwa while waiting? There have been many things that happened between the start of the study group formation and the combined study group with Manil High school in Seoul (which actually happened in Season 2 of the manhwa).

Well it has stayed pretty faithful to the original source material so far. Not as elaborate as the manhwa but pretty much following the story and style.

The novel is a masterpiece. It's more descriptive and I believe it facilitates understanding more. I had some of the worst cases of withdrawal symptoms after finishing the novel; it left me wanting a whole lot more from the story but then there was no more to come

The final episode felt like an entirely different drama, with the over-the-top war zone arc and Heejoo suddenly being smacked right into the midst of it. I mean how many times is a person kidnapped in a lifetime, for goodness' sake? And WHY did they have to stir the hornet's nest by introducing the plot mirroring an actual, divisive, and entirely volatile situation happening in the world. With poor or vague translations that could be interpreted in a multitude of ways. What a horrible ending to an otherwise compelling show. The initial pull with the 406 phone calls felt like it suddenly fizzled out in the last third part of the series, beginning after Park Dojae's capture. I don't even know how to rate this, it's just so bizarre
