I would say that 7.7 rating on MDL is pretty bad for MDL rating standards where good K-dramas consistently score…
The drama isn't that bad and it keeps getting interesting till the very end. It's the poor subs which make it less known so people tend to rate it low even before watching it

There might be no redemption arc for him. After ep 14, it's very clear that he's up against Gang Nam Soon and ready to kill her. 1. Because she's Hwang Geum Joo's daughter and 2. she betrayed him. 3. He's exposed and there's no way out of it.

I wished Ohm's character was a bit more expressive. Sadly, after UWMA, I couldn't start any of his BLs except this one. Mostly because we have Guide here.

EXACTLY! I've watched almost all of their series and they really don't kid with their artists in acting. All of them deliver some great acting performances.
