I absolutely agree with you. With 2023 we're getting better with the LGBTQ+ shows. MSP and IWKY served the healthiest fluff from Thailand. Japan is either a hit or miss with Jack O'Frost being a semi-hit this year. Korean BLs are getting bolder with casting as well as plot execution. I'm patiently waiting for Red, White and Royal Blue and YOUNG ROYALS IS A GEM. I had to say it. It's just one good show out there.
GLs are doing fine too but the audience seem to like more of skinship and less of actual plot which happened with GAP. I haven't seen Nevertheless, but ofc I've watched the GL cut and that was indeed a well written one! I was impressed.
