Right?! This will definitely not have a sequel. Phat seems to be dead for real but I think Thicha might still be pregnant. we never know. As you said, we should've gotten a proper conclusion.
I think the entire purpose of this series was to highlight the human trafficking for forced labour and sexual exploitation so they did not give much importance to Thicha's storyline further. Maybe this depicts that Thicha couldn't have it all. She had to sacrifice something to expose the evils of Bussara.
