After seeing this mess, I think we, Xiang Liu fans, are far more sensible in this case... We are hurt that Xiaoyao didn't choose Xiang Liu in novel.. but atleast we know the difference between actors and characters. We are not making scene over Yang Zi choosing Fenglong over all of them... And from my perspective of drama, Fenglong is better partner for Xiaoyao than Jing. This is because after learning archery and being revived by Xiang Liu, she only lacked a lifelong companion who never marry another girl which Fenglong had already promised her. Given nature of Fenglong, there is no way he would go back on his words.

Bigger than Xiao Zhan..hahaha! In which world are these people living?! Since when is he even qualified to being compared to Xiao Zhan... As far as I have seen his acting, he can't even compare to Chen Zhe Yuan, let alone Xiao Zhan... Given his acting level, he was lucky enough to get casted opposite to Yang Zi and being paired as main couple.. and thanks to his great acting that Jing became such an unbearably boring character for me. IMO, in the novel, Jing is quite good and is qualified to being a love rival of Xiang Liu and Cang Xuan but in drama, he literally stands nowhere, such a bland and boring character... I was holding myself back from saying these words for months, just for Deng Wei's sake, because I wanted to give him a chance as he is less experienced than other actors. But after seeing how his fans are so delusional and toxic and he did nothing then I must say this...

In my opinion, it's because of the actor.. because when I read the novel I couldn't even imagine his face as Jing.. the Jing in book and tha drama seems different persons to me having some similarities... This was not the case with any other character... Xiang Liu was Jian Ci, Cang Xuan was Wan Yi and even Hong Yi remained as Feng Long.. but Deng Wei.. he was easy to replace as Jing...
