From my understanding of this, I guess, the furniture company offered them a great discount which might be contradictory from their previous records and business strategy when that company has no obligation or reasons to do it.. and seeing this in first place it seems the result of personal connections.. so it gives the impression that Huan used her relationship with her boyfriend to get this discount... That's how it affects her personal image in others minds and make her unprofessional...
