Hey fellows, I just wanna ask can this season be watched without watching the previous season.. I didn't watched the season 1 yet so is it better to watch season 1 before starting this one or can it be watched without that...
Hey guys, I am curious about something... As I don't understand Chinese so I can only ask you all... As far as my understanding goes I know that there is always some meaning to the names of Chinese people, so I am curious about the names of characters in this drama.. what's the meaning of their names, if there is any?? If anyone know please help me with this...
AMBF is a much much bigger and better production than this, I'm looking forward to it too. I heard the script…
Any of them must not released with LYF s2.. I'm praying... AMBF is rumoured to air in Q3 and I anticipate LYF s2 will going to air at the same time, in July or August...

Thanks for clarifying! Here most people are accusing her of being two-timer, that's why I had that impression... So I'm going to continue this drama...
The format of this drama is different. And we need to have a little patience.
It's already halfway, right? Help me to get the update if there is some character development focuses on male lead as well in upcoming episodes... If there is not then I would probably drop it...

Just watched episode 1 and I kinda like the relationship between leads for now.. let's see how it will develop as the story progress... From the recent comments I am thinking that female lead is two-timer.. I guess she started to forget about her boyfriend as she came to a big city... Hoping to see better character development

I see.. I'm here mainly for Xue Yi but I found the drama is female lead centered .. so I'm hoping to see a good character and story... I loved the character Jiang Hu of ZCX's previous drama with Gong Jun..
You know something that annoyed me with this one? It's that I couldn't help but think that Yan Dan was too immature…
Can't agree more! Just finished watching season 1 and it's exactly how I am feeling after completing this season... I personally think that Yan Dan in mortal world is bit more mature than the Yan Dan in heavenly realm... The problem with her in heavenly realm is indeed the lack of understanding responsibilities of other person. She didn't try to put herself in Ying Yuan's position and think from his perspective. The guy already strongly refused for the treatment at her heart's cost, yet she willingly did that, then she kinda tried to guilt-tripping him from all the actions afterwards... She gave preference to her sister by not exposing her deeds, and when Ying Yuan played along she acted like he wronged her.. I mean what exactly she wanted.. neither she wanted to expose her sister, nor to let go acknowledgement of her love... How could both the things possible to happen simultaneously??? The acknowledgement of her love would come at the cost of her sister's career and reputation with her and Ying Yuan's lives. Had she tried to understand the things clearly and decide wisely, she wouldn't had to jump off the bridge seriously... But still, I have to say I loved this drama... The character I loved most here is Yu Mo, our black fish.. he is kinda best friend everyone wishes for... He is almost a perfect character.. then comes Ying Yuan, Yan Dan, Liuming and Zhao Lan.. for now...
I don't normally do this, but I must be in a mood, long comment incoming:You know, upon re-watching this I felt…
Indeed, that's Bai Jue! His never-ending sufferings should have been shown more... When I see people hating him, I always wonder and ask to myself "did we watch two different dramas? Why people can't see his sufferings?" I have seen people saying that they would prefer a villian over a hero like Bai Jue to being with.. I always like, "seriously guys! Do you even know what a real villian or hero is?" Bai Jue is a person who didn't just sacrifice himself for his love but he fulfilled his responsibilities towards the three realms simultaneously, yet people say they hate him... I mean why? How can someone hate a person like him? I truly don't understand them... I appreciate your analysis and you truly understand his perspective...
I have read the novel by connecting dots obviously as there is no proper translation available... And I'm honestly telling I was crying reading it.. this was first time that I cried while reading a book... I prefer the later parts of drama than book because book is such a torture... Also in drama, Bai Jue came to mend his relationship with Yuan Qi but in book he didn't.. these are some of the best moments from drama for me... In book, he silently sacrificed himself and immoral realm and demon realm witnessed it... He made them to agree on the peace between the both realms before he sacrificed himself... If there is proper translation available ever in future I will surely read the book again... But drama has already secured a place in my heart since I watched it for the first time...
the way they deliberately skips their medicine is also a achievement for them ...😂😂
Agree, our desi moms! Always pretending strong.. I have seen my mother skipping medications many times.. and if I try to remind her she always says "this little sickness won't do anything to me.. I am far more strong than you think.." haha! I find this drama quite relatable even in Indian context.. and wonder if people from other asian countries found it relatable somehow...
I still wonder what Zhuan Xu and Xiang Liu's names mean.. especially Xiang Liu....
