Uhmm.. Ngl when I started this drama I thought she is gonna be a scheming and exciting villian who plots and is very far-sighted, ambitious to achieve her goal and ultimately involve herself in power struggle. But it turns out she is just an obsessed lady who is quite spoiled and only know to take advantage of her power of position.

Pitiful? More like a coward to me.

What a true love ! I still wonder why people are rooting for him or feeling sorry for him. It's not that he had no choice but he chose this way.

In the latest episode it's shown that his motivation to become official was to eradicate corrupt and evil officials and prevail justice for commoners. But in this course he chose to allay with them and murder his innocent wife who gave her all to him.

I don't have problem with him colliding with them but should not have murdered his loving wife at least.
He is certainly a RED FLAG

He had an affair with Princess before his wife died, can you deny that? And if princess wanted to kill his wife, then must he kill her and betray her? He clearly didn't have a clear conscience, no matter how you defend him.

I am just trying to say that he doesn't deserve sympathy from his wife, no matter how much remorseful he is now.

Do you really believe in what you're saying?! You mean there was no way he could have cleared her name, really? He can simply search for the man who was in bed with his wife. But the thing is he already had a guilty conscience by having affair with Princess, so he let it slide simply by making Xue Fangfei a scapegoat. Before he buried her, he knew his mother and sister set her off, didn't he? If he truly loved her and wanted to save her, he was able to do that. Or if he even didn't know it before, he could have investigated it. But what he cared about was his position and reputation and safety of his evil family. Was his love for his wife and trust in her this weak? And if yes then we can't blame Xue Fangfei to get revenge on him or not having a bit of sympathy towards him.

Indeed. He is just selfish and coward. He doesn't deserve forgiveness or a single word of sympathy from his wife.

But still he didn't clear her name instead he buried her alive. Supporting crime is just as despicable as committing it.

I wonder why you're feeling sorry for him.. he doesn't deserve that. He had extramarital affair, betrayed his beloved wife, ruined her reputation and buried her alive. After suspecting Jiang Li's identity for the first time, he went back to her grave to check if her body is still there. He dug her grave and when he found a body still laying there, then his suspension dispersed. It's not that he is helping Jiang Li because he knows that she is Xue Fangfei, it's because he is sure that she is Jiang Li and not someone else. He has remorse for what he did, he doesn't want it to reveal before others and most importantly Jiang Li performed exceptionally and sure is talented, so it's not loss to give his vote to her or let her study in that school. He is haunted by his own crime by choice, it's not that someone set him off in committing that.
He's not worthy of my sympathy and he is the worst husband for sure..

I couldn't even pass 5th episode of that so decided to drop..
