Both director and writer are genius.

Honestly I hope the middle schooler part develop in a non cliche way. Like maybe the girl learned that liking someone doesnt mean the other person will automatically likes you back, and the dude just stay comfortably in friend zone, while Ina learns to accept herself and speak out more. Enjoying friendships and school lives.
